I am a father of 7 children and as of now, two grandchildren. With my wife, they are my pride and joy. I have a health education degree and an MBA. I work for the LDS Church as a religious educator. I love playing and watching sports. I try to raise a garden and fruit trees and berries. the key word is try. We are finally getting zuchinni to grow and taste good for the first time. I enjoy hikes with my family and walks with my wife. I love to dutch oven cook and bake bread. For some extra Christmas money I would be Santa at parties and Church events. Recently I have taken up bike riding and joined a gym. I went on a 50 mile bike ride with our varsity scouts and me and my two sons finished the course. I enjoy classic rock, listen to talk radio and follow politics.

I am from South Sudan and I'm a lost boy, I'm a Mormon.

-
About Me
I am from South Sudan, and the country was in a civil war since before I was born because of religious differences. When I was a boy, I would watch the cattle and I would travel with the cattle camp away from my village for a very long time each year. The cattle are very important to Sudanese society. I fled South Sudan when I was just 6 years old to escape the war that had destroyed my village. I walked 1000 miles across Sudan to safety with other kids my age. We didn't know what happened to our families, and we didn't have very much food and many kids died. We made it to Ethiopia and I lived there for three years in a refugee camp until we had to leave that country when war broke out in Ethiopia. I walked back into Sudan with the other kids and we later walked to Kenya where we lived for 10 years. We later became known as the 'Lost Boys' of Sudan since we were mostly boys who had left and lost our families when the fighting broke out. When I was 19 the 'Lost Boys' program allowed me to come to the United States and work. I've lived here for 10 years now working and going to school.

I'm an actor, musician, and yes of course, I'm a Mormon.
-
-
About Me
Currently I am going to a University and learning to further develop and harness my abilities as an actor and teacher. Other interests would have to include making some groovin' jams with a band, watching old movies that most people have forgotten about, and having actual good quality time with my family and friends. To some it all up, I'm a "refined goofball".

I am a college student and a parent of three. I'm a Mormon.

-
About Me
I am a father of three (one with twins on the way), and currently am in graduate school. Though college takes up most of my awake time, I enjoy playing sports of all kind; basketball, tennis, football, to name a few, and most importantly, coming home and spending time with my family. Along with sports, I am a fan of music, and musicals. I enjoy singing, and playing the ukulele and piano. I was baptized in the Mormon church when I was 12 years old after being visited by the sister missionaries. Even though my dad wasn't interested in their message, I was permitted to meet with them and learn of what this great gospel had in store for me. Prior to my baptism, I was moved from home to home, being raised by family members while my mom and dad were trying to figure their own lives out. I learned to be independent at a young age, and that has helped me in my life, greatly. Fortunately I moved in with a family that I went to the LDS church with after I was baptized. From that experience, I recognized the tremendous blessings of the gospel in the home.

About Me
We've been warned many times that families don't survive in Medical School. These warnings offered us a challenge. My husband and I met in our undergraduate years in the college of music. I've supported him through his BA and MD degree's. He is now in a Family Medicine Residency. While we've had to weather the storm and take what comes over having no control over his schedule, we are very close. Children were a desire from the beginning of our marriage. In 4 years, I was pregnant with our 1st child, a son. Then we purchased our first home. A quick 19-months later, our first daughter was born. Our 3rd child girl was born after an out-of-state move and 3 months into medical school which my husband delivered. Just prior to moving out-of-state at the end of medical school, I miscarried. Eight months into residency I gave birth to our 4th child, a baby girl & 19 months later a baby boy. I'll admit having an absent father was hard on our family. Each child has great needs including our ADHD child. Often, our income has been nil and morale sometimes low. I have made it a priority to keep life going. Swimming, playing at parks, studying instruments including piano, harp, cello, and viola keep us happy. Fieldtrips, outings, and participation in the communities sports and activities kept us going. Donated outings to historical monuments and events, outdoor lakes and parks bless us. We are not only surviving, we are thriving with cherished blessings.

About Me
I've been married to my wife for over 30 years. We have three children ranging from 20 to 29 years in age and so we are nearly empty nesters. Professionally I'm a workers' compensation defense lawyer. I am also partner in a business that manages workers compensation claims for employers. When I'm not working (which is not often) I love to read for fun. My tastes are still pretty adolescent as I tend to favor sci fi and fantasy over more serious stuff (although I love history and read a lot of that as well.) I'm interested in languages although I speak English just barely well enough to get by. I also stumble through Danish and can kind of read Norwegian and Swedish and German (but don't ask me to speak 'em .) I love music (mostly classical and, of course, The Beatles and Chicago) I still imagine in my mind that I can play the clarinet from my days in high school and college. I seem to get bored with things and go through phases of things that interest me. For a while I was spending every weekend at the target range with my Smith and Wesson 9 mm but a deck building project, then yard redo and then patio building over the past year has reduced my target practicing to almost nil. Too bad too because I was almost getting good enough to hit the broadside of a barn. Right now I am wasting time and money working on a 1923 Chevy Superior Sedan. It's got wooden spoke wheels and is really a blast from the past. Calvin Coolidge was president when the car was made!
