Why I am a Mormon I was lucky enough to be born into an active family that has been Mormon for generations. I know without a doubt that this church is the true church of God and it is the church for me. I have seen it bless many peoples lives, including mine. It stands for everything I believe in and know to be true. I know my Heavenly Father is happy with where I am today because I follow his teachings. How I live my faith I am happy to be involved in the primary presidency. I enjoy working with the primary kids to help them learn more about the gospel.

I am a father of a son and two daughters and a grandfather of a grandson, three granddaughters, and one eternal granddaughter. I am happily married and sealed to my angelic eternal companion, Sue, since November 2005. I am a full life Seattleite, worked for a local aircraft company for over 35 years, love the outdoors and music. I used to hike, bike, ride horses and have volunteered with the fire department, Red Cross and a prominent therapeutic horseback riding association. I now have the privilege of being with my wonderful wife. Since she has a health challenge that requires the use of a wheel chair for her mobility, we enjoy walks, picnics, movies, our pets (Cinder in the picture) and as much time together as we can. My wife Sue is truly my saving angel in this temporal life.

About Me
Hi! I am an 81 year old widowed great grandma of 6 children, 21 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. My husband and I joined the Church in 1953 in Dodge City, Kansas after being tracked by the missionaries, one of whom (we) I continue to stay in touch. I presently live in the State of Washington but this is my 12+ move during my lifetime. My favorite place to live was Italy, the people, the culture, the food! But I also enjoy the Blue Mountains of Virginia, the culture and history of Missouri, the vast expanse of Nebraska. I am a Mastered retired school teacher, most recently in Special Education, but with a variety of other professional pursuits, some good/some successful some not so much so.! My pastimes continue to be reading, especially historical and mystry novels, topical research, theater and I like to work jig saw puzzles. In theater I acted and directed. I have never been much of an outdoorsman but I did earn my WoodBadge while living in Europe. I am presently serving a mission for the Church as a Family History Missionary. Family history has been a passion for 40 years, it is so exciting to tie your ancestory to the history of the past. I also serve in our Ward Family History Center. Four of our six children pursued educaiton as a career, one chose general studies and one engages in agriculture. We embraced the statement in the gospel, "the glory of God is intelligence". Membership in the LDS Church as been the Iron Rod in my life.

About Me
I'm a 20 year old young man who is currently serving a Mission. My hobbies are testifying of the Restored Gospel, reading the Bible, the Book of Mormon and other scriptures, and napping. I get really tired from the work I do (who doesn't) but I know that my work is God's work. I love to read, it's my favorite hobby. I'm developing a love of the scriptures while out here that I know I will keep throughout my life. I tend to lean towards realism, so I like my life to be well defined. I don't like abstract art or abstract thinking. Give me something solid that I can work on. I love to be with my family. They are my best friends in life. I'm working hard now to make sure that I can be with my family for all eternity.

About Me
I married in the Seattle Washington Temple in 1995, only six months after I returned home from the Utah Provo Mission. We have four children. I come from a family of a sister and three step-brothers. My mother and step-father have been together since I was four, so I refer to my step-father and step-brothers as my father and brothers. In April 2010, I was laid off as an employee at the local university, where I had worked for nine years. We decided to start a home schooling supply business, focusing on our local region, an area not specifically served by any company despite having the highest concentration of home schoolers in the country. In April 2011, I decided to go back to school to finish the bachelor’s degree I started in 1997. I am majoring in drama. In my spare time, I serve on local community boards and committees, and I have a passion for municipal politics. I even ran for public office once. I enjoy camping, creating, gardening, and spending time with my family.

I am learning how to make the world a healthier and happier place.

About Me
Hello! I'm Kathryn and I think life is wonderful. Of course life has its ups and downs, but I wouldn't have it any other way. The hard times help me to realize how wonderful the good times are. I am happily married and studying Health Promotion and Education. I love to spend time with my husband and our families, cook, exercise, visit gardens, learn, and so much more. One of my favorite things to do is go on long walks. I find that it clears my mind and helps me to be refreshed and more open to inspiration. I love nature. I adore flowers and trees, and waking up to the sweet sound of birds singing is simply beautiful. I love to be healthy and to teach others around me how to be healthier. I take the stairs instead of the elevator, park further away from the grocery store, and walk places whenever it's reasonable. There are a lot of other things I could say, but this description should suffice.

About Me
I am a wife, a mother, a daughter, a sister...I'm a Mormon! I love being with my sweet family! My husband and I have a "yours, mine and ours" situation. I have had 8 children and have four beautiful "bonus" daughters. Life isn't always easy, but I always have a satisfied feeling when I overcome obstacles. Life is a learning process...I still make mistakes, but I know that through my Savior's sacrifice, I am able to repent and be forgiven. Going to church each week gives me a spiritual recharge to get me through the days ahead. I'm grateful that I'm married to such a great example of how to live the gospel. He is my rock. :)
