I'm a Cold War veteran with two overseas tours of duty. In the military I served as a marksmanship instructor, a broadcaster, and a public affairs specialist. By the time I was age 17, I was a Top 40 disc jockey in southeast Texas. Later, my voice could be heard worldwide, voicing Air Force Radio News. After leaving the military, I did television commercials and voiceover. I'm a husband, a father, a grand-father, a voiceover artist, a patriot... and a Mormon.

About Me

After graduating from high school in Iowa, I lived in Spain for two years as a missionary. Fast forward several years and now I am an orthopedic surgeon in South Florida where speaking Spanish comes in handy everyday. But to know me you have to know something about my better half. It has been said that when a man finds his wife he has in a very real sense found the other half of himself. After Spain, I remained a single man for more than 25 years. Then, one September evening a dear friend from Tampa called and told me she had met a young lady at church and that I should give her a call. Well, I did. We met Friday evening. Sunday afternoon we were engaged, and two months later we were married. She is Dominican, a BYU graduate, and a returned missionary. As sung in a song, she is the best thing that ever happened to me. We have four children after six years of marriage, but now it seems as if we have always been together.

I am a graduate student studying the brain. When I'm not studying or in lab, I love to play viola, go running and walking, volunteer at a horse farm, cook, and I love church.

I'm 20 years old. I grew up in the church but need as much conversion as anyone. There were missionaries that taught me and my family about the Restoration of the Gospel in a way that the Spirit could testify of the truth in a way that I had never felt before. I'm a guitarist, bassist, singer and song-writer. I love music! All kinds! But there is a very special place in my heart for punk-rock. I'm an athelete. I love basketball and football. I spend my brief time in the morning to exercise as well as possible. I played ball in high school. My goal is to get back in shape and try out for the basketball team at BYU. I'm the eldest son in an eternal family. I am an older brother to two younger brothers. I can't express in adequate terms my love for my family. They are the back-bone of my character.

I'm married and have four children and seven grandchildren. I retired from the US Air Force. I'm a Mormon.

 My wife and I have been hobby gardeners for 36 years. We've been to Europe and many places in the United States while serving in the military. It was a great education for our whole family visiting with people from different cultures and backgrounds. I believe our Heavenly Father enjoys variety. He allows His children to be born and grow-up in a multitude of different cultures, religions, and races.

I was raised in Oregon and joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in 1978. I love the Gospel. I have 5 children and 7 grandchildren. I love to attend the temple, study natural health, play tennis, and sing.

About Me

I grew up in the Church and served a mission, attended college and married, graduated from BYU and worked in the social services area for two years before going back to the University of Utah to get my Master’s Degree in Social Work. For the past 40 years I've worked as a clinical social worker doing individual and group psychotherapy and individual, marriage, and family counseling. Prior to her death in August of 2008 my wife and I raised 9 children who are all very successful in their chosen professions. My wife was diagnosed with cancer in January of 2006 and prior to that time we experienced some miracles that prepared us for that. Then during the time she was ill we were the recipients of many of the Lord’s tender mercies. Knowing she was terminal we drew great solace and comfort as she approached death’s door in knowing that we were married for time and eternity and that we would be husband and wife and continue to be a family beyond the veil of death. Since her death I have received great blessings and comfort and have been buoyed up by the Spirit of the Lord and have gained great comfort from understanding the plan that allows for families to be together in the eternities.

I have a strong testamony of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I am a convert to the church. I joined in 1999 when I was 23. My cousin who converted a year or so earlier took me to my first meeting. I enjoyed the meetings so much that I wanted to take the lessons. I knew of its truthfulness in that first meeting and I knew that the church was where i fit in this world.

My wife and I have four children. However, mine are not the only kids with whom I interact. Our street is full of them, I teach four year olds for Sunday school and I am pediatrician, which for those who may not know, is a physician who takes care of children. Needless to say I love kids. Over three years ago I returned from an LDS mission to Rosario, Argentina. Since then I have married a beautiful woman in the Salt Lake Temple, and we have a very precious baby named Eva who brings a great load of joy to each day I have here on earth. I am a student at the University of Utah where I am studying to become a physical therapist. I love sports! I am a big college football fan and I will always cheer for Michigan! Go Blue. I enjoy playing and watching sports and pretty much doing anything sports related. I am kind of hyperactive so I keep busy doing random things outside. It is nice to not be idle.
