About Me
I'm currently serving as a full-time missionary in Western Oklahoma, and I love being here! I grew up in WA in a small family, my parents, a younger brother now in heaven, and a younger sister who is now just starting college. I graduated college with a degree in Special Education and after a mission I plan to teach children with severe/profound mental and physical disabilities. I love to learn new things, read, and listen to music. Someday I want a pet frog.

I am a wife and a mother of two. I love being a homemaker, but I am also working on my Masters Degree. I'm a Mormon.
-
-
About Me
I had a military childhood. When my dad retired from the Navy we moved to a small town and I became a cultured country girl. I did classical ballet for many years, but also spent time out doors with my father and brothers. Though I had dyslexia as a child, education has been a big emphasis in my life. I am working on my Master Degree to become a counselor. I love to sew, cook, do crafts, and many other homemaking hobbies. Yet, my greatest joy comes from my husband, sons, and the church.

I grew up in a small town in Arizona. I'm a civil engineer specializing in pipeline design. I'm a Mormon.
-
-
About Me
I have to credit my wife with pointing me in the right career direction. I have been lucky enough to find a career that suits my personality. I am a civil engineer. The continuous learning and education required to be a good engineer keeps me on my toes and keeps my brain active. In my "spare time" I like to explore the Washington DC Area. When at home I like to read (usually business, engineering, or religious books). I also like to watch documentaries (PBS, NOVA, History Channel, Discovery channel, and the like). My wife and I have these hobbies in common. As we are both quiet and introverted it works well. I also enjoy doing activities with my daughter. Our most common activity is probably bike riding, but we also play tennis, play monopoly, and make art projects. Lately we have been trying to cook together more often. This has been fun; once it even yielded good food.

About Me
I grew up in a noisy household walking in the footsteps of my 11 older siblings. After serving a 2 year mission in Guatemala I've come to appreciate my upbringing. The strong family values taught to me have helped me through college and in selecting a career path. I enjoy the outdoors and camping with my family.

I grew up in California. I'm an IT professional and genealogist. I'm a Mormon.
-
-
About Me
My name is Karl and I grew up in California. Since I was a teenager I've had two main hobbies: community service and genealogy. I have found that serving my community provides me a wealth of satisfaction and opportunities to develop meaningful relationships with individuals from all walks of life and give back to the communities that have helped me become the person I am today. I have chosen to focus my community service in serving through the Kiwanis International family. I was a member of Key Club International in high school, a member of Circle K International while in college, and I have been a member of Kiwanis International since graduating. I have also found great interest in studying the lives and times of my ancestors and their families. Family history is the one type of history I've been most drawn to study because it is my history and explains who I am more specifically than the history of any particular location or country that my immediate family or myself live in currently. I have felt a particular closeness with those individuals whom I have spent long hours finding and researching and remembering. Applying the lessons of great generations past to my current circumstances gives me great strength to appreciate my blessings and tackle the amazing opportunities and difficult challenges I have in such a wonderful and changing time of the world.

About Me
I am a recent college graduate. After graduating from college I moved to South Carolina to pursue a graduate degree and a career in coaching basketball. I also own a small business running summer basketball camps around the country. In order to make ends meet on a meager coaching stipend I work for a landscaping company during the day. I am also the oldest of four brothers. I'm very happy to have their support as I chase my dreams.

About Me
I love being a grandmother! It is as wonderful as being a mother. I am a cancer survivor, 10 years! I have a degree in Family History, and so genealogy is not just my occupation, but also my hobby. I have compiled several family history books, for clients and for my family. Everyone has a story and I find it rewarding to capture those life stories on paper. I am a runner and enjoy exercise and the outdoors. I like to study nutrition, trying new foods and recipes. I am a lifelong learner and am always working my way through a stack of books. I love to travel and enjoy seeing different cultures and meeting wonderful people. Other hobbies I enjoy are hiking, camping, skiing, biking, but most of all I love being with my family.

I just finished my Associates Degree and currently, I transferred to college and studying Accounting. Someday, I hope to have my Masters in Accounting and own my own business. About Me
I was born into the Church and had to wrestle with whether all that I was taught was true and relevant to me. As a youth I was a quieter kid that questioned the validity of most things. This left me in a "hold back" pattern where I would watch others and see how they handled things. At 18 I was undecided about what to do after High School. I had few skills and couldn't see that anyone would pay me wages enough to make a living. I decided that I needed help to know what I should do. I wanted to know what God could tell me, but I also knew that for the previous few years I was not very connected with spiritual things. I decided one night to pray, but was embarrassed to do so because I had scoffed at this idea, because "it wasn't me". I began a prayer by humbly presenting myself as one who deserved nothing because I gave nothing, and apologized for my vanity and pride. I knew that I did not have answers about my own life, but that God had them. I recognized that I did believe the many things I was taught as a kid. During that prayer I was filled with deep rich feelings, of my smallness in the universe and yet my importance to my Heavenly Father. The feelings I was having expanded and I learned that a Spiritual experience is different than a felt emotion. In this prayer my questions about who I am, my potential and what to do with my life, opened up. I felt a great burden lifted and was filled with happiness. As sung by Elvis "He Touched Me, and now I am no longer the same".

About Me
I love to be with my family! Are we perfect? No, but we have lots of fun together. I enjoy the challenges which come in trying to help my husband as he attends medical school and help teach our children about the world around us. College and my career as a nurse have added to my ability to understand those around me. I love music and enjoy singing and playing the piano. Gardening is a great draw for me, as I love watching the plants grow and especially love eating the food!

- Hi, I'm Mark Jones - People
-
I am a nuclear worker of 36 years, a husband of 35 years, a father of 2, a grandfather of 9, and a Mormon of close to 20 years.
-
-
About Me
My father received a good education in the medical field and served in that capacity in the US Navy for 20 years. I therefore sought my education from the US Navy in Nuclear Power and while I only spent 4.5 years in the Navy, I have been in Nuclear Power for 36 years. Although I was not raised in any specific religion, my mother ensured that I knew God and Jesus Christ as she did. I have always been fascinated by science and the miracles wrought through science. I have always held that the technological advances of mankind only came to pass because it was the will and the purpose of our Heavenly Father above. My father helped instill this belief and conviction in me as well, by his understanding of the human body, modern medicine, and the credit he gave to God for the advances in the field of medicine. I am alive today because of such miracles. I am the recipient of a mechanical heart valve, a titanium knee joint, and I live without a thyroid gland by supplemental medication. As much as I am impressed with science and technology, I am even more amazed and touched by the glorious environment we live in. There is so much variety and beauty all around us to look at and to enjoy in many different ways. From the deserts, to the rain forests; from the plains, to the mountains, our Heavenly Father has given us so much to explore and to enjoy in whatever ways suit us. I personally love mountains the most, which has been the motivation for my favorite hobby, photography.

About Me
I have grown up loving soccer and all other sports. I am the youngest of 11 kids and had a lot of examples both in athletics and religion, as well as other things. I am currently serving a mission in Colorado Springs Colorado. I went to college in Rexburg Idaho for a year and plan to go back after I am finished serving a mission. I have traveled to many places in the world due to my mothers love of vacations, and have been to China, England, Costa Rica, Spain, Germany, the Caribbean, Switzerland, Canada, Mexico, France, as well as many states of the USA. Favorite place was probably Spain because there were soccer fields everywhere, and the beaches were nice. I also love snowboarding and really anything in the snow. But despite all of these hobbies, being with my family in the end is the best thing to do regardless of what we might be doing.
