About Me
I'm a 24 year old from the Spokane, WA area and am currently serving in the Utah St. George Mission. I come from a small family and have been a member all my life. I like to hang out with friends, watch good movies, hunt, fish, wakeboard, play guitar, ride motorcycles, play with cars and do just about anything outside. Before my mission I was a university student studying History and am planning on getting a Master's in Anthropology when I get home. I also like Toyotas. A lot.

About Me
I am a pretty different individaul -- my idea of fun is much different than most other adults my age. Love classical music (Händel, Vivaldi, Bach, etc.) and thoroughly enjoy learning more about the natural world and history. Fascinated with linguistics and anthropology and soon to be studying radiology technology as a change of major. Preparing for a mission a little late, but can not wait for the opportunity to serve my Lord and Saviour.

About Me
I grew up in a great, big, wonderful Mormon family, with fabulous parents and amazing siblings. For years we lived in the 'mission field' where my Dad was the Bishop and we were the only Mormon kids in our school. We moved back to Utah when I was a young teen-ager so Dad could teach at BYU. Ironically, it was here that I was introduced to pornography and masturbation. My best friend's big sister got married, and her marine husband decided to teach his new brother-in-law all about life out in the real world. I was introduced to these new mysteries a couple of days later during a sleep-over. From that night on, whenever I felt anxious, worried, overwhelmed, unappreciated, frustrated, or even just bored - I had my own built-in, guaranteed, super-charged escape valve to make me feel better - at least temporarily. That is when I learned how to pretend to be perfect, while fighting a lonely war on the inside. Looking back over 30 years of cyclical struggles and now 10 years of healing, sobriety and the privilege of reaching out to help others I marvel at the tender mercies of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He patiently accompanied me through all my pride and pretending, all my repenting and relapsing until a loving Bishop found an inspired team of LDS therapists who were unravelling the insidious chords of sexual addiction. My patient and long-suffering wife and I began a journey of recovery that has healed our hearts and resurrected our marriage.

I was in the US Army from 2006 to 2008 and am now medically retired. I read and write in all my spare time now. I'm a Mormon.

About Me
I was a soldier in the US Army from July 13, 2006 to June 25, 2008. I am now a disabled veteran and medically retired. I am 25 years old and after my first six months in the Army I quit attending church and put my faith on the back burner. After two serious but failed relationships I finally realized that I can not serve Heavenly Father an ultimatum but instead have to follow Him and His plan. I am in the repentance process and have decided to put my mission papers in next year in May 2013, why am I waiting so long?, I have braces and expect them to be removed at that point and will be able to serve a mission then. I am not perfect and I have made my share of mistakes but I would do it all over again because the lessons I have learned from those mistakes have changed my perspective and who I am and has helped my testimony grow beyond what I ever thought possible. I love to laugh and after nearly five years of not laughing I have finally found that girl I lost when I left the church and she's more amazing than ever before. I am that girl, only older and wiser now. I am a victim of sexual assault and struggled for a long time to forgive those who harmed me. I struggled with the knowledge that I had been a victim and overcoming the guilt. I pray daily for strength and patience and guidance to handle all things in my life. I suffer daily with pain from injuries I got in the Army but know they are my pains to bear and I will survive and endure as that is all He has asked of me!

I grew up in Idaho. I majored in Physics and Mathematics at a university. Now I teach piano from my home studio. I'm a Mormon.

-
About Me
I'm in my twenties and married to a great man. My husband just finished graduate school and we're in the seemingly endless limbo between school and a career. To help us get by I started teaching piano a few years ago and discovered a new love and talent. I never thought I'd be a teacher or that I would like it, but I have connected so much with my students and come to know the deep satisfaction that all good teachers feel when a student finally 'gets it.' We haven't been able to start a family yet but we know that this is one of those things that isn't entirely in our control and we have learned that we need to wait patiently and be faithful. Fortunately, in church I serve by teaching and working with the children and enjoy the special moments with each of the children there. I love to read and have a secret longing to be an author. My days are spent running my Piano Studio, fighting an endless battle with my dirty kitchen, and playing games with my husband when he isn't applying for jobs.

About Me
I've been LDS (mormon) my whole life. I know that it can be difficult at times, but the blessings are so great, it's well worth the effort. I'm a missionary for the church at the present time (until sept.2012) It's pretty pro-legitimate, and I enjoy it, everyday of it helps others find a way back to living with our Heavenly Father. I cant think of a better way to serve others for 2 years. Growing up in vegas can be hard. Their is a lot of temptation, and sometimes, a lot of loosing friends. But I guess that helps us realize what God really wants and hopes for us. I know that God loves me and is always with me. I think thats something that can really help all of us in this life, trying to be like Jesus. At a young age my Grandfather died, It was probably the first time i really asked why good people die, and where do we go. A little bit after a few other family members passed on, as well as a few friends. I really began to wonder if faith was only good for bible stories and church firesides. During this lapse of time, i was at one point at home, alone for being on vacations from school, and I saw the planes hit the Twin Towers. Why do good people suffer? God has helped me understand why. I now have learned to trust in God, and His love. That death is just a part of the deal we made from before we came. It is not the end. I know where im going, that one day, i want to marry a nice young lady, for time and all eternity, in of temple of God. (in Rome)

I'm a husband, a father, a software engineer, an author, and I'm a Mormon.
-
-
About Me
I'm a convert to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon). As a Software Engineer and Author, I write SDK documentation, books, computer games, and other types of computer programs. Although I like my job, what's really important in my life is my family. My wife and I have been married for nearly 30 years, and each new day is another day I get to see and enjoy being together with her. After having four fantastic biological children, we decided that we still have more to give as parents and that there are a lot of children out there that need homes. As a result of many miracles, we were able to adopt a beautiful 11-year-old daughter from central Asia. We're hopefully going back this year for a son. Being an adoptive parent has taught me, in so many different ways, that God watches over and cares for all of His children. I probably can't change the entire world for the better. But I've learned that through God's help and guidance, I can make the world better for a few children who otherwise would not have families. Everything that I consider an accomplishment in life has come to me through the love of the Savior and by His grace.

About Me
I live in Detroit, Michigan USA. I'm married and have 4 daughters. I really enjoy good times with my family, going to the beach, the park, activities, etc. I enjoy reading too. Lately I've enjoyed learning more about internal combustion engines for automobiles, about biofuels, and how engines can be designed or converted to run on biofuels. I finished college several years ago (I studied business management) and am grateful I was able to obtain this education. Life presents its challenges for me. I'm still a relatively young man, but have struggled with some frustrating health problems for over half my life. Sometimes it's a challenge for me to be happy each day. I worry about the limits these health problems place on my lifestyle and my family's lifestyle too. I worry about whether these health problems will get worse over time, and whether they will ultimately shorten my life, or make my future years a lot more difficult than I've always imagined they will be. So -- I wish I wasn't such a worrier. Worrying does limit my day-to-day happiness, I know it does. Where things get better is when I turn to my Father in Heaven and to my Savior Jesus Christ for help. I'm grateful for the positive and comforting influence of my Father in Heaven and my Savior Jesus Christ in my life. I'm grateful I can turn to them for comfort. I do this by immersing myself in the scriptures, particularly the Book of Mormon, and in prayer. Reaching out to them certainly helps.
