Hi, I'm Brent - People

I'm a business owner, husband, father of 5 kids and a closet musician. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the LDS Church in a very strong family. My parents joined the Church before I was born. So I have lived my entire life experiencing the blessings that come from living the gospel of Jesus Christ. My friends called it living a "charmed life" because I didn't experience the problems and issues that many did growing up. I only experienced the fruits and blessings that come because of living the way the Savior taught, and somehow having everything "just workout right". If I had to do it all over again...I wouldn't change a thing.

Hi, I'm Janette - People

I'm a Mormon. I am a stay at home mom and I love making my home a safe and loving place for my family and others.

About Me

I am a wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and a friend. I love being married. I love when my husband winks at me. I have 5 children and I take care of other children before and after school. I enjoy having a home that welcomes many. I enjoy gardening. Each year I plant a new flower and learn about it. I let my children plan the garden and we take care of it together. We are really good at growing tomatoes. I enjoy crafts. I imagine things in my head and tell them to my husband. He mkes them for me and I decorate them. Recently my daughters and I have gotten into stamoing and making our own cards. I love music. I enjoy hearing a beat and dancing to it. It brings a smile to my face. Dancing is fun too. I think the violin is the prettiest sounding instrument. It calms me down. I also enjoy hearing my children playing the piano and flute. I can't wait to see what other instruments will join us. and helping little ones learn. I love to be organized. I always know the time and I love to look at my calendar and see that there are things to do that involve my family and others. I am a morning person. I enjoy waking up early to read, study and e-mail. I get my things out of the way so I can focus on my family when they wake up. I love to end my day with family prayer and hugs and kisses. I fall asleep on the couch every night while I watch tv with my husband.

Hi, I'm Barbara Astle - People

I was raised in California. I love to quilt. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've been married to my high school sweetheart for almost 52 years. We have five children and 14 grandchildren. I earned an Associate in Arts degree in medical assisting and worked briefly in the medical field. I was a stay-home mom while my children were growing up but worked as a registrar in a high school after the last one left home. Since retiring, I've been able to pursue a lilfelong interest in making quilts. Over the last three or four years I've learned a great deal about designing and piecing quilts. Seems like I learn something new with each quilt I make, and those I make today are much better than my early quilts. I do not like to 'quilt" the quilts, and fortunately my husband decided three yeears ago that he would like to learn to do longarm quilting. So now that I have a resident longarm quilter I can make all the quilt tops I want and never have to quilt them! Since he became interested in quilting too, we've shared a number of quilting adventures, and we both enjoy very much sharing a common hobby. Our family, friends, the Project Linus organization, and Quilts of Valor have been the recipients of the fruits of our labors. In addition, we have a nice collection for ourselves of quilts for various holidays, table toppers, and lap quilts on which our two cats love to curl up as we watch TV in the evenings!

Hi, I'm Wendy - People

My FAMILY is EVERYTHING to me and taking pictures to scrap book our lives is my passion and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born into family of 8. 6 kids, 5 girls and 1 boy. We grew up in a small town in Utah. We were taught the Golden rule "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." and we lived it. I was so anxious to get out of my small town after high school I went to Snow college a 2 yr college. It was there I found myself again. I met good people from the church and they became my friends and their love and support helped me see the light and changed my life. Then I was a nanny in Ann Arbor Michigan to a lovely little adopted girl from Peru. After that I was a nanny/household manager in Colorado to a family of 4. It was here in Colorado that I met my husband and we settled down. Now I am a busy mother of 1 daughter about to graduate from High School and taking off for college to soon. I am grateful to be the wife of a wonderfully talented man, he can do anything and usually does. I love working in an after school program where I am a part of a team helping kids read at and beyond their grade level. I like to scrap book, make cards and keep in touch with family and friends through blogging, e-mail or facebook.

Hi, I'm Mike Livingston - People

I'm a bit of a klutz and very much a dork. I am currently serving a full time mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Canada in September of '91. I lived in Florida with my awesome family of two parents and two younger brothers for the ten years previous to my present service in the California Long Beach Mission. I am vastly interested in video games (going so far as to be a snob and describe some particular examples as 'art'), in writing, in music, and in acting (I am a total drama geek). I intend to major in English when I return from my mission, and then hopefully teach it to the coming generations. Despite my love for the language, I struggle to S-P-E-L-L. I love to try and design games, and then to force my friends to play them; it pleases me when they find a concept I came up with to be interesting and fun. I cannot program much, so I mostly make campaigns, card games, mods and such... The games I make are not necessarily video games. I am a HUGE goofball. The defining feature I always hear from others regarding myself is that I am always happy, smiling, and full of energy! Like a big clumsy dog! ...That breaks everything. Well, I suppose I just have a lot to smile about!
