About Me
I'd like to think I'm just a regular guy - I love sports especially baseball, movies, technology and have a wonderful family. I also am a music lover - at least of most genres. That love for music eventually led me to join the Mormon Tabernacle Choir of which I was a member for 20 years. It was a remarkable and memorable adventure as I shared my love for God and his creations through song. It also allowed me to share my talent through recordings and concerts, and to tour across the U.S. and Canada, most of Europe, and Australia and New Zealand. It was a wonderful ride and I look back on the experience with fondness.

About Me
I am married with a family of six children! I even have four grandchildren that are so much fun. I volunteer 10-20 hours a week singing with the Mormon Tabernacle choir. It is a joyful blessing to me to sing praises to our Heavenly Father and His son, Jesus Christ. I also work for the Square Foot Gardening Foundation as their teacher coordinator. I have a small family business called Home Gardens To Go that provides square foot gardening boxes and supplies.

About Me
I'm a husband and father of four, two boys and two girls. I'm a computer programmer and a musician. I work from home for a company in another state. I am a soccer coach. My two sons are both active in Scouting, and I've been a Cub Scout leader. I take my kids to lessons (dance, sports, choir, piano). My wife is an elementary teacher. We've got a busy life, and in a way we add to that by spending time serving in the church, but the church makes it all less busy and gives direction to all the craziness.

About Me
I am a grandmother to 38 delightful grandchildren. I have 10 children with the man I married 50 years ago. Music has been a great part of my life. I enjoyed singing in the Tabernacle Choir for 20 years, thirteen of those years with my husband, and in my most recent experience, "Motown Mormon" my definition, with Gladys Knight in the Saints Unified Voice Choir, along with my husband and two of our daughters. I learned from my widowed mother I could accomplish anything I wanted badly enough, if I would persist in doing the thing I truly wanted. I have overcome a poor self image by reaching outside of myself, by helping others to succeed, by looking for the good in everyone. I love life and all the Lord has provided for me. Without him I am nothing, but with the Lord all things are possible!

About Me
I love the arts. I make my living as an illustrator and landscape painter and have always enjoyed being involved in choral music. I am a new member of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and anticipated it would be a thrill and a challenge to be a part of a world class chorus. I had no idea!! Choir members are volunteers and deeply committed to musicianship and service. Our rehearsals, concerts and broadcasts give me a sense of unity with the choir members and increase spiritual feelings and dedication to Christ. We are recent empty nesters and new grandparents and love to be involved in our children's lives, from a little greater distance than before. With our schedules a little more open, we are rediscovering what we have in common outside of family, including love of music, travel and politics. It is very interesting politically to have felt right of center in the East and to find ourselves left of center in the West.

About Me
I've been a technical writer in the software industry for over twenty years. Now I work with localization and translation tools as a senior engineer. I have braces to fix a few teeth problems, but when I get them off I'm going to find a cool community orchestra and audition to play the French Horn. I've been playing the horn since I was nine years old.

About Me
I program computers for a living. I started out in computer graphics in 1976 when it was not a household word. Originally I wanted to do computer graphic movies but that was about 19 years before Pixar made their first feature film so I ended up doing flight simulation instead. Later I got into analyzing computer programs and generating web pages from them. Now I'm using supercomputers to analyze data for the US government. I married a woman with three half grown kids. I adopted them and then we had three more together. That really helped cement the family together as the older kids loved being big brothers and sisters to the little ones. My wife died when our youngest was 18. I remarried and acquired three step children in their thirties and 10 now 12 step grand children. Two of my children now have children as well. One of my daughters is now like a sister to the step-daughter who introduced me to her mother. I love choral singing. I served in the Mormon Tabernacle choir for 4 years 1987-1991 when I lived in Salt Lake City. My wife and I now sing with the Mormon Choir of Washington DC.

About Me
I love life. We live in a beautiful world, at an amazing time, among wonderful people. Science and technology have transformed the world, and information and the arts have never been more accessible. I live in a land of freedom and opportunity. I am truly blessed. My wife and I have found joy in abundance from living the "simple life:" we love each other, we love our children, and we try to practice harmony at home and to be good friends and neighbors. We have found that the best things in life are free and are usually there for the taking. I have a day job as a software engineer. My hobbies include photography, drawing and painting, board games, writing, singing, camping, hiking, and other outdoor recreation. I love spending time with my family. I find that the little things that happen in my everyday life as a husband and father can serve as reminders of the love our Heavenly Father feels for us, His children. Life is a gift, and He wants us to be happy.

About Me
Growing up, in addition to studying the three R's, I fancied three M's music, medicine and math. Yes, some say Math is the third R -- 'rithmatic -- but I mean things like spooky trigonometry and calculus. Though venturing further into the three M's in college, I ended up getting a master's degree in computer science. But, to keep up on my three M's, I still play, sing and collect music, read math books, and medicine... well, I suppose being the father of four, my brush with medicine came in the form of paying my share of medical bills over the years. My four daughters are each unique and wonderful. I'm very fond of each of them. We're empty nesters at the moment so I now enjoy time at home with my wife of 35 years. One of our favorite things is hot chocolate with a good movie, or, for that matter, anything involving time together. Professionally, I've been able to see many countries. One time, I was able to have my family with me for 5 months in England. I develop commercial applications involving large databases and the web. Musically, I recently joined the 21st century by putting my 1200 album music collection onto a networked media drive. I don't get much time to play the trumpet or guitar anymore, but I have been blessed to be in the Mormon Tabernacle Choir for the past 5 years, which is probably why I don't have time to play the trumpet or guitar.

We love boating and camping in this beautiful section of western USA. In the last eight years since retirement we have been on a humanitarian mission on the island of Mauritius and helped with the Measles campaign in Kenya. We have also spent three semesters as volunteer teachers at the beautiful Southern Virginia University. I have enjoyed teaching piano students for almost 60 years. Another highlight of recent years has been singing in the Mormon Tabernacle Choir for seven years.

About Me
I am a mother of 6 and a grandmother of 22. I am a survivor of open heart surgery to have my aortic and mitral valves replaced. My husband has Parkinson's Disease for almost 13 years now. We served a mission together in Salt Lake City in the Family and Church History Mission before his disease made him so that he needs help with every daily routine. My life is in the process of change and simplifying. I went from teaching reading to third graders to spending my days helping my husband. We are preparing to move from a large two-story house to a small home with all the rooms on one floor. My children have been helping me make our new home handicap accessible. When those changes are complete, we will move. Then we will begin the long process of emptying the large house and preparing it to sell. I have gone from being very involved in many hobbies and activities to basically being at home with my husband. At times I feel lonely and discouraged but then someone will call me or bring dinner or do yard work for me or ask me to help them or come and visit me. I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints my whole life. My ancestors crossed the plains pushing handcarts. I am grateful for their sacrifices they made to help settle the town I grow up in and for their testimonies of Jesus Christ. I feel blessed for the great life I have been given and for the wonderful people I have had the privilege to grow up with, to work with and know.

About Me
My greatest priorities are my relationship with God and with my family, friends and people whoever they may be. How I treat them, how I contribute to their lives and how they add value to mine is what I treasure most. My interests include astronomy, camping and photography. When I was a teenager I built my own telescope. Since that time I have shown the beauty of the night sky to thousands of people. My specialty in this hobby is teaching astronomy to elementary age children. I have created unique ways to teach through stories and hands on activities that bring this science to life. I have a Mom who is a member of the church, four children that mean the world to me and three loving sisters.
