About Me
Born and raised in Canada, I trained and competed in gymnastics for 19 years. I was blessed to be able to do gymnastics and get an education at Brigham Young University. It was at university where I met my prince charming. We have been married for 7 years and can't wait for more! For the last 6 years, I have been a teacher. I have loved working with children of all ages and abilities. Currently, I have the opportunity to work with students on the Autistic spectrum - they are truly amazing kids! My hobbies include scrapbooking, music (listening, singing and playing), Asian dramas/anime, reading, and anything Disney.

I'm a retired U.S. Marine and HS Spanish teacher who loves to travel the world and live life to its fullest. I'm also a Mormon.
-
-
About Me
I am a retired Marine Corps infantry officer and a retired high school Spanish teacher and varsity soccer and swimming coach. I have been married to the same wonderful woman (a retired elementary school teacher) for over forty years and we have raised six children. While in the Corps, I experienced the hardship of frequent separations from my family but also the pride and the thrill of serving our country. A loving wife and faith in our Savior held the family together. I graduated from Norther Arizona University in 1970 with a degree in Spanish. Upon retirement, I earned an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management and later, a post-baccaloriat teaching degree from Arizona State University, West. While teaching, my wife and I frequently traveled during the summer and have enjoyed exploring unfamiliar lands, meeting new people, and experiencing different cultures in about 34 countries, so far. We have recently been called to serve an 18-month public relations mission for the Church in South America.

I'm a Mormon. I have lived in three countries- U.S.A., South Korea, and Japan. I'm a violinist, a pianist, and an English teacher.
-
-
About Me
I learned to speak three languages- English, Korean, and Japanese, as my family lived in the U.S.A., South Korea, and Japan during my childhood. Through this experience, I came to understand that there is one universal language in the mind of every person, no matter what country they're from, the language of our thoughts, but it is expressed in different languages around the world. Having learned three languages in my childhood, must be why I have enjoyed studying languages, and became a teacher of English to speakers of other languages. In my childhood, I grew up listening to alot of good classical music and I think this influenced me to become a musician too. I am a violinist,a pianist, and play the organ. I enjoy listening to good music and producing and creating it as a violinist, pianist, and organist. In my childhood I started learning to play the piano, and the violin, and loved singing. Now I am a violinist in a community philharmonic orchestra, and in a symphony, teach piano and violin lessons and sing in choirs at Church on Sundays. I also have a great love for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I grew up in a home with several Holy Bibles in the home library and enjoyed reading the Scriptures, the words of prophets of God, and good books. This helped me later to recognize the truth and become a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints when I was baptized. I love helping people, and also am a registered nurse in a home health agency.

I'm a piano teacher and a Jazzercise instructor. I'm a Mormon.
-
-
About Me
I'm a mother of 4, and grandmother to 4. Even though my kids are all grown up, my life is super busy. I've been teaching piano lessons since I was 15 years old, and I love it more now than ever! I am down to only 21 students, which is half of what I had 10 years ago...and I've had the privilege of taking kids from brand new students to being amazing musicians, which is extremely fulfilling. Luckily, that makes up for the not so fulfilling moments listening to kids that don't practice! I continue to challenge myself musically by practicing and performing, and I accompany the Colorado Mormon Chorale, an 88-voice choir of auditioned singers. I have also been teaching Jazzercise classes for 22 years, and still teach every weekday morning...and just like teaching piano, I love it even more now than when I started out! It has become so second-nature for me that I'm able to focus on inspiring my students to work their hardest, and have fun doing it. One thing I love is seeing transformations...I love TV shows where they makeover someone's appearance, or their house, or their yard. In both of my jobs, I get to see transformations, and it gives me a great sense of accomplishment.

Most or my children are educated, two doctorates, three masters degrees and 5 BS degrees among them. I received my BS degree late in life after working 13 years in the electric power company field, moved to my hometown to help care for my aging parents and went back to school to get my teaching certificate. I then taught in the local high school for 16 years. I retired a few years ago and now do some substitute teaching and help the local mortician.
