I am a wife, mother, grandma, daughter and sister. I like to work with horses, camp, hunt and cook. Being a woman in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is very rewarding. I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ loves me and wants me to reach my full potential. Knowing this gives me confidence in my worth as a daughter of God, which in turn gives me confidence in life. The Gospel of Jesus Christ also gives me so much peace! We live in a world with so much turmoil and uncertainity. I know that Heavenly Father loves me! We are all children of our Heavenly Father and he loves each one of us and wants us to return to live with him.

I'm currently serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in San Diego California. I have a great family! My life has had its struggles as well as its successes. My family has been the biggest blessing in my life to help me get through the different phases of life. I am the oldest child and love the responsibility that comes with it. I have the best siblings in the world even though sometimes they try my patience I love them. I am a neat freak and love to see things clean and organized. I have graduated high school and while learning there participated in football basketball. After my mission I will work on college graduation and a career. I am a huge sports fan, especially college sports. My favorite month is March because of march madness. I love to be around people and meet new people everyday. My life is an adventure but always full of learning and joy!

I grew up on a farm in Northern Utah. My ancestors first joined the Mormon church back in the early 1800’s and migrated with the pioneers across the plains to Utah. In 1982, after graduating from Utah State University in Electrical Engineering and marring the love of my life, Holly, I took my first Job in Phoenix Arizona with Motorola. We have been in Arizona ever since. Holly and I have 3 boys and 3 girls. We love music, dancing and the outdoors. We all love to hike, bike and camp and love our lives in Arizona.

About Me

I am a mother of 2 and a step-mother of 4. I have worked my entire adult life, until recently, as a cosmotologist for 8 years and an accountant for 10 years. My hobbies and interests have changed thoughout the different stages of my life. As a young adult, in my 20's, I spent most nights and weekends at the lake water-skiing. As I approached 30, I changed to horseback riding, barrell racing, and a little team roping. During my 30's, divorce plagued my home and I became a single mother which resulted in having to give up the expensive hobbies and focus more on family. I have always enjoyed all outdoor sports mountain biking, snow skiing, camping, fishing, golfing, hiking, and the list goes on. I have never considered myself musically talented but I enjoy a little bit of piano playing and am teaching myself violin. I also enjoy drawing, painting, and using charcoals and pastels. Genealogy has become a recent obsession. Each individual I find is like opening a box of chocolates. You never know what your gonna get. No two people are alike or have the same story.

I am from the Seattle Washington area however I lived in Taiwan for 10 years and speak Mandarin Chinese and I'm a Mormon.

I enjoyed being the mother of 4, but now that I'm Nana to 12 beautiful grandchildren, life is even sweeter. I love being a grandmother to these special and remarkable little people. Although motherhood is my most important job, I also worked outside the home. After graduating from Brigham Young University, I taught high school and later college English. I was homeschooled for 4 years and then went back into public school. I never enjoyed public school and was started looking for ways to graduate early. I am currently a missionary for the church. It is an AMAZING experience. I meet so many people in all walks of life and have the opprotunity to help them gain eternal salvation when they otherwize might not have even known how to do that on this earth. I love people. I am helping them spiritually right now but I hope to one day help them temporally as well. I am also a real person. haha. I strive to be righteous in order to return to live in Celestial Kingdom together with my family forever, with My Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. Every day I thank My Heavenly Father for all the many blessings I receive and ask Him to let me have The Holy Ghost so He can inspire and help me to be a better person today than I was yesterday, so that tomorrow I can be a better person than I am today. My wife and I are retired. We share interests in books, movies, photography and travel. Knowing why we are here on this earth and where we came from and where we strive to go after death, gives real meaning to our lives. Being members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints since 1967 has strengthened our marriage, helped us raise our big family and got us through the trials of this life. We are celebrating our 50th wedding this year and the children are coming to Daytona Beach to be with us from all over... Alaska, Colorado, Utah, Tennessee, Florida and maybe Texas. Being members of our church is like being part of a big family, each doing his or her part in the activities and organizations of our local ward(congregation). There are always activities going on for families and singles that encourage getting to know one another and having fun. This has been the church environment we raised our family in and it has been a great blessing to our family.
