Hi, I'm Kimala - People

I have lived in many parts of the USA. I am a wife, mother, and teacher. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife of almost 25 years to a caring and adventurous husband who has loved and supported me to build myself as an individual, wife, and mother. I am the mother of two wonderful children whom are young adults. I was a stay-at-home mother until both children were in school. Being a full-time mother was the hardest job I have ever had to do and one of the most rewarding. Watching my children grow up from babies gave me the opportunity to see life through their eyes and experience things again with a new perspective. I am a special education teacher for students in K-5. My job is to find how to make each individual student that has learning challenges learn. I love watching a student realize they can sound out or write a word by themselves for the first time. I love it when they can learn that learning is fun. My husband offers me adventures as he flies us around the Puget Sound or other states in his two-seater airplane. Yes, some of it has even been upside down. I love viewing the world from that perspective. Seeing how each cloud has a personality of its own in how it is shaped and moves. Looking at the same mountains with a new eye each time I am above them because the weather, season, or even just the sunlight is different. Life moves around us and we can either stand by and watch it go past, or know that God created this beautiful Earth for us and relish its beauty daily.

Hi, I'm Reilly - People

I'm a New Mexican, I like to read the encyclopedia, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am from a littler-sized town in New Mexico, lived there until I was 17 years old. I'm the youngest of 5 kids, and basically enjoy the small things in life like a well-placed water fountain, a good laugh at old memories, a long run on a hot afternoon in the hills of New Mexico, and time to sit and think about...everything. I love studying history, skiing, racquetball and ultimate frisbee. I have completed two years at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD and will one day grow up and be a Marine. However, I'm taking a short break from that and am currently serving as a missionary in the greatest mission in the whole world California Santa Rosa.

Hi, I'm Stephanie - People

I know the blessings that come from missionary work. I'm a convert. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

For the sake of being brief, I am difficult to put into words. Laughter is my best friend we do almost everything together. Sarcasm is my second language, sometimes to a fault. People rock my socks and then some. I could never be a hermit. I easily break more stuff than you. No, really. Your accidental destructive tendencies do not hold a candle to mine. I have a testimony of the LDS church. Short, but, hopefully, sweet.

Hi, I'm Craig - People

I'm a Mormon. I was away from the church for many years. I'm back and thankful to be where I need to be. Come join me.

About Me

I am 63 years old and was raised in the church, served a mission, returned and entered school. School was not working out so I joined the US Air Force in 1971. I was married in 1972 to my college sweetheart, but work away from home, selfishness and self indulgence destroyed that marriage and alienated my children after 14 years. I fell away from the church and lost sight of the real prize of eternal life. I was away for over 35 years, during which time I met and married a teriffic lady who was my strength and support for 22 very special years until her unexpected and sudden passing in 2008. For several years prior to her death I had felt the emptiness in my soul and the longing to find my Savior once again. My sweet wife's passing made me realize that she had tried to turn me toward the light but bitterness and hard feelings kept me on the other side of the fence, until she was taken from me. It was then that I came to the sad truth that if we could be together, it had to be me that took hold of the rod. Sought out my Savior. Humbled myself. Repented of all my many transgressions and renewed those covenants I had broken. Now I study and read all I can to increase my knowledge of God & His plan, attend the temple and strive to be the man I should have been before I fell away many years ago. I hope to build a shop to continue my woodworking after I retire. I think of Christ when working with the wood for He was a carpenter before He became the Master Teacher and our Savior.

Hi, I'm Zach Speck - People

I'm a Colorado native. I love my Savior, my God, my family, and my country. I'm a Latter Day Saint.

About Me

I love martial arts. I grew up in a very non-religious family. My family took me to church on Easter every year, but once I turned about 13 I stopped going to church all together. My life was empty, and painful. In high school I became very self-hating and took my anger out on myself physically. I'm covered in self-inflicted scars of every kind. After a long phase of self-harm, I got down on my knees and plead to God for help. He led me to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Hi, I'm Kathie - People

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

The most important thing in my life is family and love. This is common to most members of our church. Everything good can be found to have a common connection in the Scriptures. We love the Bible as much as the Book of Mormon and other Scriptures given us by God. I love to read and everything I read reminds me of something from the Scriptures. My health challenges are many but not severe, just limiting, so I have to keep a positive focus at all times to keep my faith and hope strong. We are a positive people in the Church and welcome ALL to join and connect with us in that faith and hope.

Hi, I'm Lance Leavitt - People

I'm a Mormon.I've lived in Nev, Cali, Mont, Louisiana, Florida. 11yrs US army, 20yr firefighter. Married 29yrs. 2 kids

About Me

I was born in Nv into the church, raised Mormon, lived in and out of the church. I spent 11years in the US Army and Nevada Army National Guard. I have worked as a fire fighter/paramedic, engineer/paramedic for close to 20 years and have been happily married for nearly 30 years with 2 kids. I smoked cigars, drank, brewed my own beer, and partied pretty good. Life was good. Then one day I started to feel like I needed some balance in my life so I started to read philosophy which eventually led me back to our heavenly father. I recently went to my bishop, got my act together, am reading the scriptures, praying, gained my own testimony for the first time, baptized my daughter, and attended the temple. The fleeting happiness I was chasing for years is mine constantly now through the companionship of the Holy Ghost. Joy is now very much a part of daily life. My relationships are stronger on all accounts and most of my friends have supported me. I look forward to serving Jesus Christ.

Hi, I'm Leslie - People

I'm a Spanish Teacher, a college graduate, and a young wife. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just graduated with a degree in Physiology and Developmental Biology and a minor in Spanish. For a spring term during college, I did a study abroad program in Spain, and I now LOVE Spain ... especially the pretty Spanish accent! I love the human body, and I love to work with people and to help them. As a result of these two attributes, I am currently working towards getting my personal training certification so that I can help and educate people on how to take better care of their bodies. My husband and I met at college and were married in May of 2009. We enjoy doing lots of outdoor activities together, like rock climbing, camping and hiking. Some other things that I LOVE doing are playing the piano I've been playing since I was eight years old, snowboarding, scrapbooking, reading good books, traveling and learning new and exciting things. I also love to play soccer and was on my high school team.

Hi, I'm Dave - People

I'm a retired US Air Force officer working as a Systems Analyst with a midwest firm; primarily on US Government contracts.

About Me

Like many members of the LDS Church I joined when I was 8 yrs old. We lived in Glens Falls, New York at that time and the congregation was very small (about 20 in regular attendance). We moved from New York to Hastings, NE when I was 10 years old. I regard Nebraska as home. In Hastings we found a somewhat larger congregation (about 30 in regular attendancy). It was there that I became really 'converted' to the Gospel.     I studied numerous religious organizations along with studies in LDS doctrine. We talk about a burning in the bosom when the Holy Ghost communicates with a person. I have received this 'communication' on many occasions when studying the scriptures, listening to various local leaders and General Authorities as well as quiet time spent in prayer. I never had that same confirmation when studying other religious organizations. This doesn't mean they have nothing to offer. It only means, to me at least, they don't have as much to offer.     Since that time I've had numerous wonderful opportunities and blessings that I ascribe to my Heavenly Father. Everything my family and I have comes from him. We strive in every way to be greatful for all of the blessings we have received because of our willingness to be obedient to the commandments.
