Hi, I'm Dave. - People

I'm a Mormon. I joined the church as a college student, stayed in school and eventually became a college professor. Engineering.

About Me

I'm a middle aged American Christian guy who's been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints about half his life. I'm very fortunate to be married, and to have five children, and, now, 8.5 grandchildren. All bring happiness to my life. I was in university 11 years, and then ran out of degrees, so I had to work at university in order to stay on. I worked for a few years at small, military college, before moving to a major football power, where I've taught Civil Engineering and done engineering research and publishing for 25 years. I like to bicycle, including mountain biking, fix bikes, fix cars (when we were students, this was a financial necessity!), drive go karts fast, take pictures and travel. As a family, we have driven over 100,000 miles together. I always enjoy making folks laugh. Laughter is always part of my academic teaching, including the ten instructional Civil Engineering videos I've made and sell. While writing is not my favorite activity, I've written a book, Soils Magic, which turned out to be the best seller for my professional society, who published the book. I guess that's the American dream. Although my dream, which I'm living, is to be the happy father and supportive husband.

Hi, I'm Tracy Gaudio - People

I'm a Mormon. I just graduated from the University of Washington in Seattle and I am a grandmother!

About Me

Who am I? Over my life the focus of who I am or where my priority was has evolved; daughter, student, wife, mother, college student (again). Once our kids were raised I went back to college to complete my degree in Anthropology at University of Washington, class of 2011. And that has been my focus for the past four years. I felt the need to finish college because I wanted to be an example for my grandchildren, that if grandma could do it so could they. I believe that we need to learn and continue to learn everything possible about ourselves, our fellowmen, our universe, and our God.

Hi, I'm Tom - People

I was born in Ireland and raised in Scotland and Canada. I taught college history for twenty-three years. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

At age sixteen I dropped out of high school and worked full-time for two years. At eighteen I joined the LDS Church and my whole life changed. I completed high school, served a mission, got married, ran a tour business in the Canadian Rockies and sold insurance. When I was twenty-nine, my wife, daughter and I pulled up stakes and headed to Utah to attend university. There I obtained a BA in History from Brigham Young University and an MA from Utah State University. By the time I finished school we had three more children. We returned to Canada where I taught college history for many years and we had two more children. After my wife died of cancer I returned to BYU on a sabbatical and began writing my first novel which was published ten years later. Since then five more of my novels have been published, along with several short stories. Eventually I re-married and my new wife and I spend our time collaborating on writing projects, visiting grandchildren and serving in the church.

Hi, I'm Jason - People

I grew up in Arizona. I'm a college student at Brigham Young University. I love sports. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a 23 year old student at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. I enjoy snow skiing, wakeboarding, playing tennis, basketball, and volleyball. I have 1 older sister, 4 younger brothers, a niece, and a nephew. Growing up I had the opportunity to move around a lot. I was born in Southern California and after only a few short years my family moved to Littleton, Colorado (just outside of Denver). From there we moved to Gilbert, Arizona (Phoenix area) and then headed to Provo, Utah. After a few short years in Provo my family found ourselves back in Gilbert right up until about the time for me to head off to college. When I turned 19 years old I had the chance to move to Goiânia, Brazil for 2 years to serve as a missionary for my church. While there, I was able to learn portuguese and make many lasting friendships. My time in Brazil truly blessed my life with opportunities to grow and experiences I will never forget.

I like to play video games, watch movies, hang out with my friends (mormons and nonmormons), and I love to watch most sports. Im grateful for a wonderful family and I am happy I was raised the way I was. Im a Mormon and would be happy to talk with anyone interested in learning more about my religion.

Hi, I'm Casey - People

I'm in high school and in college. I love to sing and everything about music.I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a senior in high school and I'm stressing out about college. I want to major in criminology and forensic science. I plan to go to an Arizona university after I graduate and get my Bachelor's there. My favorite hobbie is singing. I'm currently in my church's ward choir and I love it! I am also a student at a local community college. On Saturdays during the spring and fall (Well hot and less hot considering Arizona has only 2 seasons), I attend that college. I am able to do this because I was awarded a scholarship from my high school to go to college for free. The only downside is I have to pay for text books. Expensive! I also go to college during the summer. Wasn't that fun? Sarcasm doesn't communicate well over text. Unfortunately university won't be free for me. I am an active member of a club called Anytown (which changed to Everytown because the name was copyrighted by YMCA). Everytown is a diversity and acceptance club where we have serious conversation about the prejudice and discrimination going on in the world today. We also have fun moments when we celebrate other cultures. I consider myself to be an open-minded person. I love learning about different cultures, religions, and myths. I am an independent person with few close friends. I love long walks on the beach....just kidding. I want to move out of Arizona because I think the desert landscape is kinda ugly. And it is too hot here. Well that's me in a nutshell!
