About Me
I was born to wonderful parents who are some of my best friends today. As a youth, I loved music and school - especially the social part - I'm an only child! I went off to college where I met and married the love of my life. We have 3 sons and I count being their mom as one of my greatest blessings. I graduated in Accounting which is a perfect fit for me. I currently work as a part-time accountant and much of my work is done at my home at my convenience. Music is still a big part of my life and I am often playing the piano for some event - or just for my own enjoyment! Bargain-hunting and family history are two of my other favorite activities.

About Me
Being a husband, a dad, getting a master's degree, playing community sports, serving in the Church, working full-time and cooking are all the things make life great. I live in Salt Lake City, Utah, which seems a little smaller than the city of Seattle where I spent the first ten years of my life. But when you're a kid you only notice the things around you, which were trees, trees and trees. I love the beauty of nature. I have found some of my most memorable experiences being in nature. I love the smell of grass, which is good because I've probably spent 4 years of my life on a baseball field. I played baseball for 20 years before finally giving it up for family time. There is nothing I love more than being with my family. A close second is serving Jesus Christ by serving His children. I love to help others whenever I am able. I want everyone to feel the great peace I feel. Life can be rough at times if you don't understand that it has a purpose. I want everyone to know that what they go through, no matter how difficult, can help you become closer to God.

About Me
My wife and I are the parents of 7 children and 14 grandchildren. I am 65 years of age and will be retiring at the end of 2012 after working for 34 years at the same company. I attended both the Univ of California at Santa Barbara and Brigham Young University (BYU) where I graduated with a degree in Chemistry. My wife and I met at BYU and we moved to Chicago where I enrolled in graduate school and earned a doctorate in pharmacology at the Univ of Illinois Medical Center. After graduating, I took a post doctoral position in environmental toxicology at the Institute for Environmental Studies, Univ of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana. My wife and I had 4 children while in school and struggled and sacrificed together to help me graduate. We both worked part-time to support our growing family. I worked at the same company for 34 years, becoming an expert in food safety assessment and am internationally recognized for my contributions to food toxicology. After I retire, my wife and I plan to spend more time visiting with our children and grandchildren and hopefully will have the opportunity to serve an humanitarian mission for our church. Based on my work experience, I am aware of the struggles people have in many parts of the world to have enough quality food to eat. My wife and I also volunteer in our local temple as ordinance workers helping others to perform vicarious work for their ancestors so their families can be united together in the eternities.

About Me
I'm 24 and recently graduated from college. I'm an "older" graduate because I chose to serve a mission for the Mormon Church for two years. I got to serve in Russia and I loved it! I'm currently planning to go to med school and have submitted my application. Music is a huge part of my life as well as sports and dancing. Most important, however, is my faith in God. Recently I married my best friend, Shelly. We were married for time and all eternity in one of the LDS temples. This is an important part of my life as I made a covenant so that I can live with her forever.

About Me
I am the youngest among six brothers and sisters in our family. My father died when I was in second-year High School. In two thousand and six, my mom passed away too. Despite of the great loss, I am still happy for the Lord has never forsaken me. I am just greatful for the Benevolent God who gave me a strong personality when it comes to trials like death. I was really influenced by my grandmother who taught me and gave me almost everything for my temporal, professional and spiritual growth and development. I love collecting and reading books like literature, medical science, history, and language. I also cook and bake, but, I am not really into sports. Being a full-time missionary, I have the opportunity to commence and experience the awesomeness of sports, like dodge ball and volleyball with my fellow missionaries. I am done with my college last 2010 with the degree of Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Moreover, for me, education is a never-ending process...I want to learn more, because life does not start when we were born nor ended when we pass away in this great oasis.

About Me
Well, I would like to say i'm like every other guy, but then i'd be lying. I'm a little bit crazy aye, but I think its a good thing, I find that crazy people make the world interesting. In terms of what i like, i'm a real outdoors kid, love my sports or physical activity; hiking, swimming, camping, etc. I love music, one of the greatest blessings God has given us, and i also love art; sketching, expressive, digital, photographic, honestly i love it all. But above all else, I love my Pacific Dancing! my heart belongs to polynesia. After growing up in New Zealand and learning a little about the Maori Culture, I've had a real fascination and desire to learn more about my heritage as a pacific islander, so studying at Brigham Young University Hawaii and dancing at the Polynesian Cultural Center, was nothing short of a dream come true... Currently i've stopped dancing at the PCC, and taken up my duty and calling to be a missionary, serving the wonderful people of Australia in the best mission on earth! the Australia Adelaide Mission! The work is hard, but incredibly fun, I love this work, plus I know if I help God with his work, he'll help me in mine, so I know that I will see that beautiful island paradise of Hawaii again, and i will dance the dance of my people again one day.

About Me
I am from Utah which doesn't really surprise anyone that I am Mormon. But just as anyone i have had to find out for myself if the church is true. I am 19 years old and am currently serving a mission for the church in Florida. I love to do anything with small engines. That is what I have grown up doing. My Dad and I ran a small engine repair shop together and I learned quite a bit about working with my hands from doing so. My favorite time of the year is winter. I love to snowmobile with my family. During the spring, summer, and fall months we enjoy doing a lot of stuff together as well. We paintball, jeep and just all around enjoy life together.

About Me
I've been married for 26 years to my wife, Diana. She and I both grew up in Southern California, and went to the same high school (although I didn't get to know her until after I finished my college degree). Before I met my wife, I was a missionary in Japan from 1978-1980. I learned how to speak Japanese, and loved living in Japan. I didn't think I would like Japanese food, but I learned to love Japanese cuisine and have since introduced it to my family.....we regularly eat sushi! My wife and I also love to eat middle eastern food, and often go to restaurants that serve the cuisine of Lebanon, Iraq and Greece. Learning the Japanese language sparked my passion for learning foreign languages. After spending six years studying Spanish, I have been studying Hebrew for the last ten years. Because I have a busy law practice, I don't have time to go to school, and have been studying Hebrew on my own. My goal is to be fluent enough to be able to read the Bible entirely in Hebrew. My next language will be Farsi. My favorite past time is fishing and spending time outdoors with my family. My sons, brother-in-law, and son-in-law have joined me in my annual quest to catch a blue fin tuna. I haven't caught one yet, but there's always next summer! I love the beach, and try to get there as often as I can. My favorite beach in the world is Kamaole Beach on Maui, but Seal Beach in Southern California is a close second.

About Me
Greetings! I am Kevin Hunt. I live in Arizona. I have been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints all of my life. In fact, my ancestors - back five to eight generations - have all been members of the Church. Our Hunt ancestors joined the Church in Kentucky and came to Utah in 1856. Folks on my mother's side are Danish. They joined the church in Denmark. All of our ancestors came to Utah and the West via covered wagon - and a lot of walking - and were asked by Church leaders to settle in different areas of Utah. I grew up in a town founded by Mormon settlers. I went on a Church mission to Alabama, Florida and Georgia and learned the native language. I graduated from Brigham Young University in Utah and it was there that I met my wife. We both had the same Youth Leadership classes and earned the same degree. I had an emphasis in Boy Scouting and hers was Girl Scouting. We scouted each other and the rest is history. We had eight dates over a two year period and I proposed (finally) by mail. We were married in the Salt Lake Temple of the Church. That was over thirty years ago and things are still going well for us. I worked professionally for the Boy Scouts of America for seven years and loved directing the summer Scout Camps and developing programs and activities. I have since worked in various administrative jobs such as insurance, bookkeeping, human resources, etc. My wife and I recently pooled interests and abilities and have started our own catering business. We have nine children. We actually wanted twelve but, as my wife says, "Nine is FINE!". And with that bunch (six girls and 3 boys) we now have twelve grandchildren (nine boys and three girls). They are our life and we love them a great deal. My interests include Boy Scouting, cooking, outdoor Dutch oven cooking, wood carving, wood working, landscaping my yard, building outdoor structures (gazebos, BBQ ramadas, etc.) to make our back yard look like a log cabin, staging parties and gatherings, reading, doing family history research and researching and preparing biographies of ancestors. I am also an avid journal keeper and I have a written journal entry for every day of my life since age 18 (so that equates to 132 volumes of about 200 pages each). Writing books is another special interest. I have written several books about Scouting and youth leadership - including a history of Scouting in the LDS Church. I've also written other books on values - and these are geared to young children, a book about journal writing, one about Christmas (written almost entirely from my own personal journals) and some on other Gospel topics. And my wife and I have actually written the first volume about our crazy courtship and life with nine children. No one would believe all that - but it's all written in my journal! I enjoy life and being with my family and friends. I enjoy and appreciate my membership in the LDS Church. We have a good life and are happy.

About Me
Besides being a mom and grandmother, I went to work when my youngest child was in high school. I helped write, facilitate and train at the airline where I worked regarding those accommodations required by law to help those with disabilities. This gave me a new appreciation for the obstacles those with disabilities overcome every day. One of the side benefits of working with an airline was satisfying a love to travel. My family was able to travel with me many times to see interesting parts of the world. During the years I stayed home with my children, I was privileged to serve in community groups that helped provide scholarships and music opportunites. I worked in another company, coordinating events such as departmental team-building, and off-site training. I facilitated meetings and trained during monthly departmental meetings. I like to cook and have taken different classes in chinese cooking, breads, and how to use a pressure cooker. My granddaughters and I enjoy watching Food Network shows and trying new recipes. One summer for four weeks, I taught my grandchildren how to cook some of my family favorites. Girl and boy grandchildren participated to have fun with their cousins. I love music, and it has been a very satisfying part of my life. I have performed, directed, and been in the audience throughout my life and enjoy many different kinds of musical performance. Music speaks to my soul in ways that help me to know I have a loving Heavenly Father.

About Me
I'm a happily married 31-year old. I learned six programming languages and basic digital logic design and then I switched to literature and writing. My job history is rather varied. I've delivered papers, been an orthodontic office custodian, I've counted mosquitoes for a mosquito control company, I've distributed electronic components for student labs, I've put together computers, I've made stained glass windows, I've been a tax examiner for the IRS, and I've been a writing tutor at two colleges. I’ve learned how to play piano, flute, saxophone, clarinet, recorder, harmonica, carillon, and organ. Back in about 2004 I got this brilliant idea to write a book about Isaiah for teenagers to show how it could be applied to the everyday temptations that teenagers face. (Google "Isaiah Insights to Teenage Temptations".) One and a half years and 26 (or is it 27?) chapters later, I realized there's tons more stuff to write about and I really enjoy writing on gospel topics. I'm the oldest of seven children (5 boys, 2 girls). I'm a bit of a neat freak and an undeniable bookworm. I suspect that I spend too much time on the internet. I love blogging about the scriptures. I want to be a seminary teacher.
