Hi, I'm Quinton "Quin" Motteshard - People

I'm an artist, I'm a college student, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm 6' 6", I'm a college student, an artist, a writer, director, camera guy, and video editor (I record videos and post them on YouTube) . I also like classic movies and television shows such as "I Love Lucy", "The Wizard of Oz", and many others. I am a HUGE fan of WICKED the Musical! I love to draw. Whether it is WICKED fan art, Disney characters, or my own original characters, no matter what it is, I love the talent I have been given and it keeps me occupied. I am also into video/computer games such as Sims 3, Animal Crossing, Just Dance, and Super Smash Brothers Brawl. I love my family, friends, the Gospel, dark chocolate, and going to the Temple. Like everyone else, I have dreams. I hope to work for Disney one day. It's been my dream to work for Disney as an artist since I was in Kindergarten.  Obviously, I'm a big Disney fan. I would also like to perform in Wicked the Musical or have some sort of career in Motion Pictures. The future is bright! I love to have a good time. How I have a good time is by going out with my friends and have fun doing whatever we can think of. Whether it's going on an adventure, a hike in the mountains, eating one of the largest ice-cream sundaes you will ever see, making a crazy video, a photo shoot, or dancing until we can't dance no more, we always have fun and I'm grateful for that. Friendships are a great blessing and I love my friends very much. They have been a wonderful example to me.

Hi, I'm Stephen - People

I'm a missionary, a gamer, a lover of people, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

Hi I'm Stephen, I was born and raised in Alaska and have lived there my whole life. So it would be easy to assume that I love fishing, hiking, hunting, kayaking, snowboarding, skim boarding, etc. Believe it or not, in my hometown we have more than 90 miles of sandy beaches and the conditions are perfect for skim boarding! I love all sports, but basketball holds a special place in my heart, my freshmen year we won State for Alaska Basketball! I'm also known for my extreme passion of video games, weekends usually consist of playing video games all night and going on facebook! My favorites are Smash Bros, Zelda, and Halo, but I like just about any video game. I am also serving my mission right now in the New Hampshire Manchester Mission and loving it so much! The Gospel has made a huge difference in my life. I was heading in a direction that could have easily turned out deadly, but God had something else in store for me and I'm glad He cares and loves me so much. He never gave up on me, not once! And because of that, now I can go and show other people that He will NEVER give up on them either! That is not only my mission here in New Hampshire, but my mission for the rest of my life

God's Commandments - Article

God has given commandments through His prophets to help you live a happy life.

Hi, I'm Hannah - People

I love Colorado. I make videos for YouTube. I'm a junior in high school. I'm the oldest sibling. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a junior this year, and I'm very excited. My seminary class is always so amazing to be a part of, and I have some fun friends in school as well. I've lived in Colorado my whole life, and after traveling many places in the United States, I have decided that Colorado is truly the best, and I don't want to live anywhere else. As much as I'd like to stay here the rest of my life, I plan to go to BYU Idaho to learn more about CIT (Computer Information Technology) because being a webmaster/web developer sounds pretty cool to me right now. I also hold an interest in video filming and editing, and I upload (ish-quality) videos to YouTube. I find that if you know what to stay away from, and in turn, what to look for, the internet can be a really amazing place. I'm the oldest sibling in my family with two sisters and a brother, and while I get annoyed just like any other sister, I love my family. They mean the world to me, and there's nothing that could replace them. Even these beautiful Rocky Mountains. I also take my education very seriously; if our knowledge is the only thing we can take to heaven, I'd better acquire all of it I can get before my time is up. Also, reading is fun whether it's for academic purposes or not. Did I mention I love Colorado?

Hi, I'm A.J. - People

I love Camaros and lizards. I'm a skydiving, quadriplegic father of two boys. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a 37 year old father of two awesome boys, ages 9 and 6. I love being a father; there is no better calling. I teach high school Spanish and love my "other kids" too. At the age of 21, I was involved in an automobile accident after hitting a patch of black ice on the highway and as a result, I am now a quadriplegic. Doesn't much matter though- I have learned that experiencing life is great, no matter what the circumstances. After working in front of a computer screen for three years after getting a degree in college, I decided to try teaching high school. After an hour the first day teaching, I knew it was for me. I love the Spanish language, and teenagers. I Can't believe I get paid for what I love to do. It's a blast. I like going to the park with my kids, sitting around the fire pit with my sons telling stories, the outdoors and the warm sun on my shoulders, watching movies, going on Slurpee runs with my boys, participating in church, in cub scout pack meetings, writing, photography, computers, and Photoshop. I'm a huge fan of Camaros and most muscle cars. I like to set and accomplish worthwhile goals. Chocolate See's suckers, shrimp, cashews, and beef jerky are my favorite foods. I love survival movies. I like listening to rock, alternative, and classical music. I listen to audio books to fall asleep at night.

Hi, I'm Ted - People

I'm a Mormon. I market high-tech products, produce a lot of videos and have five kids.

About Me

First of all, I have five wonderful kids--from 6 to 19 and am recently re-married. My oldest boy is on a mission in Brazil. My two oldest are Eagle Scouts, both play the piano (over 10 years of lessons), and both were leaders in their high school band (clarinet). My next (13) says he's going to be in the Olympics (gymnastics) and then I have two beautiful girls. I've been fortunate work wise and have lucked out with some great opportunities--as a VP at GE, a Sr. VP at Motorola, a VP at Harcourt, formed Red Storm with Tom Clancy, launched Netscape and have launched over 400 high-tech products for over 150 companies (Microsoft, HP, Adobe, Disney, Sony, Autodesk, IBM, plus a lot more). Now I do high tech market consulting out of my home--a 20 foot commute... and the best thing--I'm home for my kids each day! I also produce videos (over 120 so far). Some are community (schools, 4th of July, church (LDS and Catholic)), a lot of personal favors (weddings, 15th, 16 and 40th birthdays), but mainly corporate videos (3M, Dell, GE, Motorola, etc.). One was shown to the King of Saudia Arabia and another to the US Congress. My son even got into it and helped pay for his mission with his videos (animated family photo videos). Right now, I just try to keep up with all the kids "Fun Things to Do List." This summer we swam in the lake, went through caves, tubed down the Guadalupe river, planted flowers, saw the bats, and helped one son complete his Eagle Scout.

Hi, I'm Matt - People

I am a video producer, a sand volleyball player, a would-be chef and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am passionate about life. I love a good adventure, whether it is camping in the high altitude pine tree covered mountains, rafting down a river, producing a video, feeling the sand between my toes while on the volleyball court, or cooking something new in my kitchen. I enjoy traveling and seeing new places, as well as experiencing favorite places over and over again. I am fascinated with castles and the world of fantasy. I enjoy movies and the escapism that it brings, allowing me to be deeply enthralled in some fantastic adventure or sit on the edge of my seat during an intriguing suspense thriller or even a good romantic comedy.

Hi, I'm Kathryn - People

I'm a Mormon. My beliefs define who I am and what I want to become.

About Me

Hi! I'm Kathryn. I'm a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I was born and raised in Salt Lake City in 1948. I have been married for 40 years (to the same kind, incredibly patient man). Together we have two grown children -- a son and a daughter. I am a retired computer programmer/systems designer who loves to travel, garden, write, attend the theatre, talk about my faith and spend time with my two dogs and one cat.

Hi, I'm Chris - People

I'm an aspiring writer/director/artist, studying to become a video game designer, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a 23-year-old male attending college, studying Digital Media and trying to decide which outlet would be best for my creative pursuits. I have some experience in art, writing, and filmmaking, and I have always been interested in designing video games, so I am finding myself at a sort of crossroads lately. I am a joker and a bit of a social butterfly, but I always love finding myself in deep conversations, especially ones regarding religion.

Hi, I'm Jared - People

About Me

Hi, I'm Jared. I've loved to learn all my life, and so, no surprise, I became a teacher! Although endorsed as a language arts teacher (I love the art of words and the power of writing throughout the ages), I also love astronomy, history, biology, anatomy, visual arts, and social arts and culture. My wife and I found each other via online dating (yes, it can work!), and have one beautiful child. For hobbies, I enjoy hiking, creative writing, analytical writing, designing solar systems, and designing "alien" societies. I also love video games, where I can experience virtual realities or simulations (which works well when you like to write sci fi or fantasy).

Hi, I'm Valerie Jean - People

Married to a private investigator. We have 3 children. I love being a wife, mom and business-owner. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Elder Boyd K. Packer said, "The ultimate end of all activity in the Church is that a man and his wife and their children can be happy at home." I can say firsthand that I know what it's like to be a part of a happy family. In this regard, I am the luckiest wife and mother on the planet. Our children are teenagers, and yet they still open up to me about anything and everything. I treasure my husband and children more than I can say. I have numerous other blessings as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I have a strong desire to share my testimony of the gospel. I do struggle with weaknesses and various different trials, specifically health issues. But it helps me to remember the good moments outweigh the bad ones. Oh how they do! The gospel of Jesus Christ enables me to have this perspective, regardless of the trials my family and I are going through. I enjoy reading mostly for secular and spiritual learning, journal writing, photography, creative writing, going to the movies isn't movie popcorn the best?!, helping others, social networking on the internet, blogging, spending time with my friends, immediate and extended family and I've been known to play a game of spider solitaire or two. If I'm listening to Michael Buble, one might catch me dancing. I very much enjoy going to the temple. I have taken numerous college classes on different campuses and online. I absolutely love learning. My husband is a private investigator. He is good at what he does and more importantly, he enjoys his job. I do not work outside the home. A great deal of my time and energy is spent towards my family and taking care of our daughter who has special needs. She has over 15 doctors. My sons have some health care issues as well. But I am grateful that my children have doctors and medication to help them. The inconvenience of doctor's appointments is a small price to pay for necessary health care. Somehow, our children rise above their trials and keep on going. They each have accomplished good things and I am proud of them, especially for the good choices they make. I am so grateful to my husband, and for the love and patience he shows to me. He is also one of the funniest people I know. I love him dearly. I am excited for this opportunity to share my beliefs about Jesus Christ. I welcome comments on my blog page.

Hi, I'm Trevor - People

I'm an artist, a video game player, a child of God, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I really enjoy playing video games, drawing, and music. I've played video games from a young age and it's really a way for me to relax and enjoy myself. I've played quite a variety of them, but my favorite company is Nintendo. These games have always been fun to me and I love the family oriented games that are put out by them. Mario, Zelda, StarFox, and Metroid are main staples from Nintendo that I enjoy playing. I've been drawing since I was very young as well. It's a talent that I hope to cultivate into something more. I've not had a true opportunity to take an art class as of yet, but it's something that I hope to pursue in the future. Animation has always interested me, and I've always enjoyed, and still do enjoy, watching cartoons. The different styles of animation, drawing, and humor are something I look at in each show that I watch. Starting middle school, I began to watch some anime Japanese Animation which eventually led to my Mom purchasing Miyazaki's films such as Spirited Away and Castle in the Sky. These stories were very good and I enjoyed the level of detail that went into the characters and the drawings. I play the piano, but I memorize all of my songs. I love learning game music. I was in Band Class from Middle School throughout highschool. I played in the Percussion section. The Vibraphone and such wasn't so bad, but I really enjoyed playing the snare drum and to this day, the music for playing on drums is the only kind that I can sight-read.

I served a mission to Central America and married in the temple. I am a husband and father and enjoy serving and teaching in the church. I have worked with computers all my life and am happy in my work as an IT Manager for a small jet charter business. A few years ago I started blogging about the church and love to correspond with people who have questions about our doctrines and practices.

Hi, I'm Kylie - People

I'm a video gamer, an artist, a nerd of various degrees, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a nerd in many areas, video games, art, and enjoy playing D&D with friends. I've been a gamer since I could pick up a controller and play all sorts of genre's, though my fancies lie mainly in RPGs. I draw a lot, mainly small practice pencil sketches, but every so often I will upload a picture and color it digitally. I also love to create stories. Online role-play is my passion, and sometimes I write short fictional stories. Currently I'm working to create a full novel from one of my story ideas. I took a year of college for 3-D Game Art and Design, where I learned a little about animation and working with digital art programs like Photoshop. I fell upon hard times and had to drop out of college, realizing my destiny lied in serving my church by taking on a mission first. I am currently serving in Minnesota and will be going home the end of September of 2013.

Hi, I'm Monte - People

I'm a video game artist, an art teacher, a purveyor of curiosities, and a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a husband to an AWESOME wife and a dad to two FANTASTIC daughters. I like cartoons, video games, comics, vinyl records, books, sandwiches, ukulele, harmonica, and owls. When people ask me what I do for a living, my answer is "artist" but that answer encompasses a lot of disciplines. I'm primarily an animator at a video game studio, but I also teach college art classes, draw comics, design posters, and paint. And I've never met a piece of scrap paper I didn't want to attack with a black magic marker.
