I'm a 37 year old father of two awesome boys, ages 9 and 6. I love being a father; there is no better calling. I teach high school Spanish and love my "other kids" too. At the age of 21, I was involved in an automobile accident after hitting a patch of black ice on the highway and as a result, I am now a quadriplegic. Doesn't much matter though- I have learned that experiencing life is great, no matter what the circumstances. After working in front of a computer screen for three years after getting a degree in college, I decided to try teaching high school. After an hour the first day teaching, I knew it was for me. I love the Spanish language, and teenagers. I Can't believe I get paid for what I love to do. It's a blast. I like going to the park with my kids, sitting around the fire pit with my sons telling stories, the outdoors and the warm sun on my shoulders, watching movies, going on Slurpee runs with my boys, participating in church, in cub scout pack meetings, writing, photography, computers, and Photoshop. I'm a huge fan of Camaros and most muscle cars. I like to set and accomplish worthwhile goals. Chocolate See's suckers, shrimp, cashews, and beef jerky are my favorite foods. I love survival movies. I like listening to rock, alternative, and classical music. I listen to audio books to fall asleep at night.

About Me

I'm 6' 6", I'm a college student, an artist, a writer, director, camera guy, and video editor (I record videos and post them on YouTube) . I also like classic movies and television shows such as "I Love Lucy", "The Wizard of Oz", and many others. I am a HUGE fan of WICKED the Musical! I love to draw. Whether it is WICKED fan art, Disney characters, or my own original characters, no matter what it is, I love the talent I have been given and it keeps me occupied. I am also into video/computer games such as Sims 3, Animal Crossing, Just Dance, and Super Smash Brothers Brawl. I love my family, friends, the Gospel, dark chocolate, and going to the Temple. Like everyone else, I have dreams. I hope to work for Disney one day. It's been my dream to work for Disney as an artist since I was in Kindergarten.  Obviously, I'm a big Disney fan. I would also like to perform in Wicked the Musical or have some sort of career in Motion Pictures. The future is bright! I love to have a good time. How I have a good time is by going out with my friends and have fun doing whatever we can think of. Whether it's going on an adventure, a hike in the mountains, eating one of the largest ice-cream sundaes you will ever see, making a crazy video, a photo shoot, or dancing until we can't dance no more, we always have fun and I'm grateful for that. Friendships are a great blessing and I love my friends very much. They have been a wonderful example to me.

I have always had an interest with film. I look back on my life and see that while growing up I loved to have a camera in my hand and just make cheesy videos. Never had I thought that I could be paid to film or create videos that others could enjoy or learn from. I became seriously engaged in film my senior year of high school and found that I could express myself through a few video clips and some sweet tunes. I quickly became obsessed and had to be involved with it constantly. Through competitions and film festivals I have learned so much and become gradually better. I love looking back and seeing the progression that I have made to the current point in my life. Music has always been something that has had a profound impact on my life. It is amazing to me how simple melody and lyrics can have such a powerful influence over our emotions and the way we look at life. As I have grown up I have been smarter with my choice of music and it has made me a better person. On top of it all I love to enjoy life. This life is meant for happiness. Life is a giant playground full of experiences and opportunities to learn. If you aren't enjoying life you aren't doing something right.

Names Mike. I was born and raised in southern California and just like to live life day by day. Growing up in California I loved taking up everything this place has to offer... the beach, the city, the mountains we have it all! I like longboarding, bonfires at the beach, and always looking to have an adventure. I'm a husband to an AWESOME wife and a dad to two FANTASTIC daughters. I like cartoons, video games, comics, vinyl records, books, sandwiches, ukulele, harmonica, and owls. When people ask me what I do for a living, my answer is "artist" but that answer encompasses a lot of disciplines. Hi, I'm Jared. I've loved to learn all my life, and so, no surprise, I became a teacher! Although endorsed as a language arts teacher (I love the art of words and the power of writing throughout the ages), I also love astronomy, history, biology, anatomy, visual arts, and social arts and culture. My wife and I found each other via online dating (yes, it can work!), and have one beautiful child. For hobbies, I enjoy hiking, creative writing, analytical writing, designing solar systems, and designing "alien" societies. I'm a junior this year, and I'm very excited. My seminary class is always so amazing to be a part of, and I have some fun friends in school as well. I've lived in Colorado my whole life, and after traveling many places in the United States, I have decided that Colorado is truly the best, and I don't want to live anywhere else. As much as I'd like to stay here the rest of my life, I plan to go to BYU Idaho to learn more about CIT (Computer Information Technology) because being a webmaster/web developer sounds pretty cool to me right now. I find that if you know what to stay away from, and in turn, what to look for, the internet can be a really amazing place. I'm the oldest sibling in my family with two sisters and a brother, and while I get annoyed just like any other sister, I love my family. They mean the world to me, and there's nothing that could replace them. Even these beautiful Rocky Mountains. I also take my education very seriously; if our knowledge is the only thing we can take to heaven, I'd better acquire all of it I can get before my time is up. Also, reading is fun whether it's for academic purposes or not. Did I mention I love Colorado?

Born in Auckland, New Zealand Never been anywhere except there till about last year when i came to Australia. I love learning and growing, especially closer to God. I have a Associate's Degree in Arts and Science with a Major in Science. About Me

I developed a love for driving vehicles at a very young age growing up on a dairy farm. Later my interest turned to aircraft. I dreamed of becoming a pilot. This led to a career in aviation. I was trained as a helicopter pilot in the army and served one tour in VietNam. I also spent many years as a commercial pilot flying both airplanes and helicopters throughout the western United States. 

While working in the college TV studio, a second passion emerged. This inspired me to start a video recording service producing videos for the small business and consumer markets. I also recorded civic and church related events. I did this for over 30 years. Now my passion involves investigating new paradigms and sharing them with others. Emergency preparedness, holistic wellness, and freedom are examples of these. 

Through all this, my family and my church have given purpose to my life. Just six days after meeting my sweetheart, I jokingly introduced her to my best friend as my wife. Three months later, she WAS my wife! Now after nearly 50 years we have seven children and ten grandchildren (soon to be eleven). Each day my love for my sweet wife grows; and life is good.

Married to a private investigator. We have 3 children. I love being a wife, mom and business-owner. I'm a Mormon.

Elder Boyd K. Packer said, "The ultimate end of all activity in the Church is that a man and his wife and their children can be happy at home." I can say firsthand that I know what it's like to be a part of a happy family. In this regard, I am the luckiest wife and mother on the planet. Our children are teenagers, and yet they still open up to me about anything and everything. I treasure my husband and children more than I can say. I have numerous other blessings as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I have a strong desire to share my testimony of the gospel. I do struggle with weaknesses and various different trials, specifically health issues. But it helps me to remember the good moments outweigh the bad ones. Oh how they do! The gospel of Jesus Christ enables me to have this perspective, regardless of the trials my family and I are going through. I enjoy reading mostly for secular and spiritual learning, journal writing, photography, creative writing, going to the movies isn't movie popcorn the best?!, helping others, social networking on the internet, blogging, spending time with my friends, immediate and extended family and I've been known to play a game of spider solitaire or two. If I'm listening to Michael Buble, one might catch me dancing. I very much enjoy going to the temple. I have taken numerous college classes on different campuses and online. I absolutely love learning. My husband is a private investigator. He is good at what he does and more importantly, he enjoys his job. I do not work outside the home. A great deal of my time and energy is spent towards my family and taking care of our daughter who has special needs. She has over 15 doctors. My sons have some health care issues as well. But I am grateful that my children have doctors and medication to help them. The inconvenience of doctor's appointments is a small price to pay for necessary health care. Somehow, our children rise above their trials and keep on going. They each have accomplished good things and I am proud of them, especially for the good choices they make. I am so grateful to my husband, and for the love and patience he shows to me. He is also one of the funniest people I know. I love him dearly. I am excited for this opportunity to share my beliefs about Jesus Christ. I welcome comments on my blog page.

I'm a mother of two beautiful teenage girls, and find myself very much in the trenches of this mortal life seeking out the best of the best ways to influence and share God with the world--and living amore abundant life than ever. I believe that creating and loving is more important than accumulating and possessing, and that it's the motive beyond the ordinary moments and the grace that's sprinkled on our efforts that makes them extraordinary and allows us to feel God so close by. Motherhood is my magnum opus, and the rest of my comings and goings are accents--albeit and hopefully, signature accents--on my life's work. I've spun around in a few intersecting paths--graduate work in human and org development, women's studies, family policy crossing public affairs, training, and outreach. Oh my granola. I never know what to say in these kinds of things. I guess I'll just list some hobbies or something. I like to play sports, video games, card games, board games. I love Video Games, Sports, hanging out with friends, spending time with family, but probably not in that order. I've been playing video games since I was a kid, and my family has always loved getting together. Since there's nine of us in the family, it's easy to get someone to play a game with you. My family has always played any game together, board games, talking games, sightseeing games on vacations, anything. I probably got caught up mostly in the games, but the real important thing was spending time with family. I tend to be a competitive person and love playing a game of football, American football, ultimate frisbee, tennis, whatever anyone really wants to play. Some things I like to do are play tennis, football, basketball, and rugby. Somewhat of an outdoor person, I like to be indoors as well. I also like to read many types of books with my favorites being Sci-Fi or japanese manga. I am a hardcore video game player, I play all types like first-person shooters, fighting, adventure, action games, racing, you name it. I'm also into astronomy as well, the universe is a big place and we're just a small part of that universe so I like to study more about how it works too. I'm also a military child too, after I was born in Florida I only stayed there for 1 year and after that, moved to Japan and lived there for 6 years, then to Germany for 5 years, and then back to Florida for another 5 years, so I've had quite the culture jump between countries. I'm also a big comic book fan as well, my favorite hero is Spider-Man hands down.
