About Me

I'm a 37 year old father of two awesome boys, ages 9 and 6. I love being a father; there is no better calling. I teach high school Spanish and love my "other kids" too. At the age of 21, I was involved in an automobile accident after hitting a patch of black ice on the highway and as a result, I am now a quadriplegic. Doesn't much matter though- I have learned that experiencing life is great, no matter what the circumstances. After working in front of a computer screen for three years after getting a degree in college, I decided to try teaching high school. After an hour the first day teaching, I knew it was for me. I love the Spanish language, and teenagers. I Can't believe I get paid for what I love to do. It's a blast. I like going to the park with my kids, sitting around the fire pit with my sons telling stories, the outdoors and the warm sun on my shoulders, watching movies, going on Slurpee runs with my boys, participating in church, in cub scout pack meetings, writing, photography, computers, and Photoshop. I'm a huge fan of Camaros and most muscle cars. I like to set and accomplish worthwhile goals. Chocolate See's suckers, shrimp, cashews, and beef jerky are my favorite foods. I love survival movies. I like listening to rock, alternative, and classical music. I listen to audio books to fall asleep at night.

Hi I'm Stephen, I was born and raised in Alaska and have lived there my whole life. So it would be easy to assume that I love fishing, hiking, hunting, kayaking, snowboarding, skim boarding, etc. Believe it or not, in my hometown we have more than 90 miles of sandy beaches and the conditions are perfect for skim boarding! I love all sports, but basketball holds a special place in my heart, my freshmen year we won State for Alaska Basketball! I'm also known for my extreme passion of video games, weekends usually consist of playing video games all night and going on facebook! My favorites are Smash Bros, Zelda, and Halo, but I like just about any video game. I am also serving my mission right now in the New Hampshire Manchester Mission and loving it so much! The Gospel has made a huge difference in my life. I was heading in a direction that could have easily turned out deadly, but God had something else in store for me and I'm glad He cares and loves me so much. He never gave up on me, not once! And because of that, now I can go and show other people that He will NEVER give up on them either! That is not only my mission here in New Hampshire, but my mission for the rest of my life

Hi, I'm Jared. I've loved to learn all my life, and so, no surprise, I became a teacher! Although endorsed as a language arts teacher (I love the art of words and the power of writing throughout the ages), I also love astronomy, history, biology, anatomy, visual arts, and social arts and culture. My wife and I found each other via online dating (yes, it can work!), and have one beautiful child. For hobbies, I enjoy hiking, creative writing, analytical writing, designing solar systems, and designing "alien" societies. I also love video games, where I can experience virtual realities or simulations (which works well when you like to write sci fi or fantasy).

I'm currently serving a Mission for the LDS Church in the Washington Everett area and having a blast while doing it!!!! I grew up in the LDS capital of the world....UTAH! My parents divorced when I was six. They had two girls and me. Well, the coolest thing about me is that I'm a dad. Also, I love weight lifting, whether its power, olympic, or even crossfit, I just love the feeling that comes with it. Ironically, I also nerd out on video games sometimes. Did I mention I love eating? Yea, total binger. I am 20 and right now I'm a missionary. I love watching movies, the dark knight is my favorite. I also love video games like batman arkham asylum, halo and all the lego games. I love being outside too, but I only like sports I don't have to be a team on. Like I like to just shoot hoops more than play basket ball. I love music, especially classic rock and movie scores. My name is Nathan Reece. I'm 20 years old.I am single as of right now. Thinking about teaching elementary school. Preferably first grade. My top 3 favorite sports are: football, basketball and volleyball! I enjoy cycling, working out! I am the youngest in my family which consists of 2 older brothers and 3 older sisters. I love to tell people stories, whether it be in person, through a song, a book, or any other way. Stories have such an impact in our lives that human culture is literally ingrained with them. I tell stories is so many different ways. I wouldn't be able to say that I am an expert or that I am particularly amazing, but I can say that I love to do it. There is a thrill that comes when you project an idea into the big world, and see how people react to that idea. I also love partaking of other people's stories, I love listening to music; Sigur Ros, Jonsi, Stars, Barcelona, Freelance Whales, The Postal Service, Death Cab for Cutie, Explosions in the Sky, and so many more! I also loved watching movies and television; Doctor Who, MLP:FiM! Dr. Horrible, and so many other quirky, but awesome shows and movies! If I didn't have a story to tell, then why am I here? Right now as of this moment, I am telling a story. A story so true and wonderful that I am happily giving two years of my life to tell it, and that is the story of The Book of Mormon. I'm in South Carolina, where I will be until late 2013. Before my mission, I was just a normal teenager. I would spend time with friends, work, go to school, go to church, help my family, fill my life with enjoyment. However, now that I am no longer on my own time, and am now on The Lord's time. I see how much more there is to life than just simple pleasures. And that is why I am telling this story. There is more to life, than just existing.

I'm from the South, but I am currently serving a mission in the Washington Spokane Mission. I'm enjoying it! I enjoy playing board games, card games, and video games. I've been married for almost 16 years to my beautiful wife, Leslie. She being originally from Wyoming made the transition to Iowa in 1997. I'm a self-employed veterinarian taking care of small and large animals. The practice consists mostly of dogs, cats, cows, sheep and goats. In my spare time I like to work in the garden. The family pets consist of three dogs and a gecko. Being the father of 7 young children ranging from 14-3, we have occasional frogs, snakes and other critters that seem to enter the house via little hands that think they are so cute.

I have been married for 40 years (to the same kind, incredibly patient man). Together we have two grown children -- a son and a daughter. About Me

I have always had an interest with film. I look back on my life and see that while growing up I loved to have a camera in my hand and just make cheesy videos. Never had I thought that I could be paid to film or create videos that others could enjoy or learn from. I became seriously engaged in film my senior year of high school and found that I could express myself through a few video clips and some sweet tunes. I quickly became obsessed and had to be involved with it constantly. Through competitions and film festivals I have learned so much and become gradually better. I love looking back and seeing the progression that I have made to the current point in my life. Music has always been something that has had a profound impact on my life. It is amazing to me how simple melody and lyrics can have such a powerful influence over our emotions and the way we look at life. As I have grown up I have been smarter with my choice of music and it has made me a better person. On top of it all I love to enjoy life. This life is meant for happiness. Life is a giant playground full of experiences and opportunities to learn. If you aren't enjoying life you aren't doing something right.

I like to play basketball and video games. I went to Snow College and earned an Associate of Arts Degree. I'm planning to go back to school soon earn a bachelor's.
