Hi, I'm Valerie Jean - People

Married to a private investigator. We have 3 children. I love being a wife, mom and business-owner. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Elder Boyd K. Packer said, "The ultimate end of all activity in the Church is that a man and his wife and their children can be happy at home." I can say firsthand that I know what it's like to be a part of a happy family. In this regard, I am the luckiest wife and mother on the planet. Our children are teenagers, and yet they still open up to me about anything and everything. I treasure my husband and children more than I can say. I have numerous other blessings as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I have a strong desire to share my testimony of the gospel. I do struggle with weaknesses and various different trials, specifically health issues. But it helps me to remember the good moments outweigh the bad ones. Oh how they do! The gospel of Jesus Christ enables me to have this perspective, regardless of the trials my family and I are going through. I enjoy reading mostly for secular and spiritual learning, journal writing, photography, creative writing, going to the movies isn't movie popcorn the best?!, helping others, social networking on the internet, blogging, spending time with my friends, immediate and extended family and I've been known to play a game of spider solitaire or two. If I'm listening to Michael Buble, one might catch me dancing. I very much enjoy going to the temple. I have taken numerous college classes on different campuses and online. I absolutely love learning. My husband is a private investigator. He is good at what he does and more importantly, he enjoys his job. I do not work outside the home. A great deal of my time and energy is spent towards my family and taking care of our daughter who has special needs. She has over 15 doctors. My sons have some health care issues as well. But I am grateful that my children have doctors and medication to help them. The inconvenience of doctor's appointments is a small price to pay for necessary health care. Somehow, our children rise above their trials and keep on going. They each have accomplished good things and I am proud of them, especially for the good choices they make. I am so grateful to my husband, and for the love and patience he shows to me. He is also one of the funniest people I know. I love him dearly. I am excited for this opportunity to share my beliefs about Jesus Christ. I welcome comments on my blog page.

Hi, I'm Diana - People

I'm a special education teacher and mom of 4 kids. I love family! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love working with children. When my own four children were very small, I had a family day care in my home. The opportunity to stay home and raise my children until they were all in school has been a great blessing for our family. When my youngest child started first grade, I started working as a special education aide in an elementary school. I gradually began returning to school myself to work toward finishing my college education. Although the late night studying and often sleepless nights have been difficult, the importance of setting an example to my own children has helped me persevere. I have finally received my degree, but I still have more classes to take to earn my teaching credential. I love learning and knowing that I can make a difference in a child's life and also help their family! When I am not busy studying, I love to read, travel, sing, and go camping with my family. One of the blessings of working in education is having the summers off. I enjoy the free time I can spend with my children and also time for myself.

Hi, I'm Kervin (Kevin), and I'm Mormon - People

I am the only male member of my family of 3 sisters, and as well as the youngest. I am 21, and I love to spend time with people.

About Me

I am the only male member of my family as well as the youngest. For now, I am an Aaronic Priesthood holder, but I will work to become worthy of obtaining the Melchizedek Priesthood. I was born with water in my head and therefore must have a shunt to live. Despite this, I will not let this hinder my ability to serve. As a typical boy and as well as a convert (I was baptized with I was 15), I enjoy movies, video games, and spending a great of time with my friends. And before another detail I would forget, draw. Consider me superactive as I tried to socialize with people I met within a Ward, Branch, and Stake as I take part in lessons and Family Home Evenings.

Hi, I'm Valeta Murray - People

I grew up in Jamaica. I am a Registered Nurse. My goal is to administer to and serve the afflicted like Christ did. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the last of a family of five sibblings. We have a loving mom and dad who did their best to instill the fear of God and seeking to do good to others in us, from birth. I knew from my early years that my ambition was to help persons to overcome their challenges and afflictions but did not know how my life would have penciled out. I loved to nurse animals and humans when ill and found the experience gratifiying when they miraculously got well even with my amateur, tireless efforts. I was bought up as a Roman Catholic and later made my own choices, under the influence of my eldest brother. That chapter did not work out very well, and so I continued to seek to be identified with a church in which I could finally find clarity to my life, knowledge of God and spritual growth. I actually visited all denominations within my reach and made friends with those whom I thought would have assisted me to find the Saviour. My life was tormented with bad choices as I followed the persons whom I thought would be good examples to me. They too where experiencing moral challenges, conflicts in their homes and had many diffuculties in their lives which made me wonder if this is the live I really wanted to live when following Christ. I was totally confused - all those persons I chose to be my role model seem also to have chosen a role model who also needed a role model and so my search for happiness and peace in the gospel was not been fulfilled. So I stepped back to find God for my self.

Hi, I'm Candee - People

We raised 6 children in Colorado. Now we're empty nesters in Arizona. Photography keeps family ties alive and makes new friends.

About Me

Since my children and grandchildren live a state away, I like to stay in touch with them through family photos. My favorite thing to do is to make photo books about their lives, and vacations we share together. Also, I belong to a camera club. I enjoy trying to be creative to surprise others, and I enjoy admiring their artwork. Photography is a medium through which I build relationships, exercise, and enjoy the out of doors.

Hi, I'm Jared - People

About Me

Hi, I'm Jared. I've loved to learn all my life, and so, no surprise, I became a teacher! Although endorsed as a language arts teacher (I love the art of words and the power of writing throughout the ages), I also love astronomy, history, biology, anatomy, visual arts, and social arts and culture. My wife and I found each other via online dating (yes, it can work!), and have one beautiful child. For hobbies, I enjoy hiking, creative writing, analytical writing, designing solar systems, and designing "alien" societies. I also love video games, where I can experience virtual realities or simulations (which works well when you like to write sci fi or fantasy).

Hi, I'm Hannah - People

I love Colorado. I make videos for YouTube. I'm a junior in high school. I'm the oldest sibling. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a junior this year, and I'm very excited. My seminary class is always so amazing to be a part of, and I have some fun friends in school as well. I've lived in Colorado my whole life, and after traveling many places in the United States, I have decided that Colorado is truly the best, and I don't want to live anywhere else. As much as I'd like to stay here the rest of my life, I plan to go to BYU Idaho to learn more about CIT (Computer Information Technology) because being a webmaster/web developer sounds pretty cool to me right now. I also hold an interest in video filming and editing, and I upload (ish-quality) videos to YouTube. I find that if you know what to stay away from, and in turn, what to look for, the internet can be a really amazing place. I'm the oldest sibling in my family with two sisters and a brother, and while I get annoyed just like any other sister, I love my family. They mean the world to me, and there's nothing that could replace them. Even these beautiful Rocky Mountains. I also take my education very seriously; if our knowledge is the only thing we can take to heaven, I'd better acquire all of it I can get before my time is up. Also, reading is fun whether it's for academic purposes or not. Did I mention I love Colorado?

Hi, I'm James - People

I was born in Cleveland, OH USA. I work in facilities management. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband and father. I work in facilties management and deal with HVAC systems on a regular basis. I met my wife in college and we were married in the Oakland California Temple. We have five children ages 13,15,17,19 and 21. My early life was spent as a member of another faith. Although this faith was full of wonderful people there were too many unanswered questions about life. For several years I did not participate in any religious activity until I one day found The Book of Mormon at the public library. I read it over the course of two years and it has changed my life. I was a baptised a member of the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1985.

Hi, I'm Tyler - People

My Fav Five are God, Family, Sports, Girls, & Ping Pong. I love all Spanish people esp Mexicans & I'm "The Stormin' Mormon" ;)

About Me

If you love sports well me and you will get along. I play almost all of them but my favorites are baseball which I was a SP and SS, basketball, and football. I am also a stats junky and love to follow the NCAA and Pro leagues. I was going to Brigham Young University as a business major until I put all that on hold to serve a mission for the Lord. I am currently serving as a missionary in the Washington Spokane mission and speaking Spanish! There is nothing better than sharing the message of the restored gospel with others and watching it change their lives. I love the Spanish language, culture, people, and especially the food. "Pudieras decir que soy medio mexicano" I have lived in the West, South, and East Coasts of the U.S. I was diagnosed with obsessive compulsive disorder or "OCD" when I was a Freshman in HS and after a debilitating struggle with many prayers and a special priesthood blessing, have overcome it and now enjoy living a free and normal life. And I love being a Mormon!

Hi, I'm Ottavio - People

I'm an Italian law student. I love food, smiles and winter. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Sicily. Now I'm going to college (I'm studying law!) and I moved to Rome. I like living on my own, even though I have to do cleaning jobs, washing-up and I have to cook my own meals! That's the price of "freedom", I guess. Since the time I received my testimony, I had to wait two long years to be baptized because my parents strongly opposed my conversion. I lived as a "dry member" until almost a month ago, when I was baptized in Rome by Elder Cox from Idaho (a missionary who had served in my hometown a year ago and whom I met again here in my new city).

Hi, I'm Jeff - People

I try to do as little better everyday. Jesus is my Savior and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've always enjoyed the spontaneity and freedom that my country affords me and I've taken full advantage of it. I was born in Iowa but grew up in a college town in Michigan that was accepting of a lot of different lifestyles and ideas. I dropped out of high school but later got my GED and went on to graduate from college with a degree in philosophy. I've worked mostly as a copy-writer but have taken career side trips into real estate and insurance sales, long-haul truck driving and debt collections. I have a wonderful wife and four kids ages 2, 4, 11 and 13. I've lived all over the country -- in Washington, D.C., Texas and Oregon but now live in Western New York, getting ready to start work on my Master's degree.
