One of the most amazing blessings is my perspective. I know that we were with God before we were born, and that this life is not the end. Our life on earth is a time to prepare to meet God. Having this beautiful view of the bigger picture comforts me everyday.
Because I am going into medicine I am frequently in the hospital. I've seen death and the impact it has on loved ones. I have been blessed with comfort and peace knowing that they are not gone forever.
When I was little my younger brother passed away after a fight with cancer.
I could never allow such a thought as that I could never see him again to enter into my mind.
The clear perspective the gospel brings is brilliant light that cuts through the smoke of doubt and fear.
I know I will see my younger brother again, that this life is not the end.

In June 2009 I was diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver. The treatment and prognosis were dependent on the actual cause of the cirrhosis and it would be about six weeks of testing before we would have an answer, treatment and prognosis. During this period I received a priesthood blessing that promised me that i "would be made whole" and make a full recovery. We understood the "full recovery" part and felt comforted, but we were a bit perplexed by "made whole"
Eventually the diagnosis came, Alpha1 Antitripsyn Deficiency. We were told that a liver transplant was the only treatment and I would need one within two years. At 45 being told that I might not live more than two years was hard to accept. I received another priesthood blessing desiring hope, comfort and understanding. This blessing was very different from the first, it promised trials, pain and sorrow. It admonished me to "lean on the Savior" for strength and comfort and I would receive the promised blessings in my "very hour of need" according to my faith. Over the next two years I would think back on these blessings in times of turmoil and try to put my faith in Christ. This always brought feelings of peace and comfort and being lifted from the depths of despair.
Following Mothers Day 2011 i was admitted to the hospital for the 28th and final time. My body began failing one organ after another, I was at the top of the transplant list. Days and then weeks passed with no news. I began to spend more and more of my time unconscious. Despite my grave circumstances my faith was now fully focused on the Savior and I was at peace. By May 31st I had became very aware of my mortality and knew that I was near the end of this life. Then in the "very hour of need" came word that an appropriate liver was available. Just after midnight I received the new liver. I had been made whole.
It was my faith in Jesus Christ that carried me through this trial and brought about the many blessings I received.

Our little family's world was shaken when our son was born with severe, intractable epilepsy. He has since received a surgery that has healed him, however for 15 months we watched as he seized 20-40 times a day, and regressed developmentally.
There were many times that we teetered on the brink of hopelessness. However, it was at those times that a prayer, a scripture, or a visit from someone would remind us of the divinity and power of Jesus Christ.
He who calmed the winds and waves during his mortal life could calm our hearts. He who knows everything could help us know how to deal with the realities of our son's illness.

Believing that Jesus Christ is my Savior has brought me a lot of comfort throughout my life. I try to keep in mind how the Bible describes his life as being full of service to others. He performed so many miracles to bless and uplift other people. I believe that he has not changed at all in the past 2000 years I believe that he still performs miracles in the lives of those who love him. I believe this because I have seen miracles in my life. There have been times when my future seemed so bleak that I wasn't sure I wanted to keep going, but I have always found peace through prayer, and I believe that this peace is only possible because of Jesus Christ. The Old Testament prophet Isaiah prophesied that Jesus would carry our griefs and sorrows, and I have felt that in my life as I have prayed for strength to make it through the hard times in my life. Because of Jesus Christ, I have been able to feel joy even when I felt like nothing was going my way, and that joy has seen me through some very lonely days.

My parents divorced when I was three years old, and dad got custody of my little sister and me. He remarried not too long after, and I had a stepmother that didn't like me at all! I lived with my grandparents for a couple of years or so, and then later with an aunt and uncle, but eventually ended up back with my dad and stepmother. Life was hard growing up. I joined the Church at the age of 30, and realized that I had some pretty hard feelings for my stepmother and my dad. I knew I needed to forgive, and prayed for help, but it didn't seem to happen. After some time, I had the distinct feeling that I needed to write a letter to my parents on a regular basis. I realized that they were getting up there in years, so I started writing them weekly, just telling them about our week and what was going on in our lives. I never received a reply, but that didn't seem to bother me, I just kept on writing as it had become a habit. After a few years of writing, my stepmom died suddenly through a fall on Thanksgiving day. My dad told me how much she had looked forward to and enjoyed the weekly letters. It was then that I really understood that those letters weren't really for her, but for me... For through them, I had learned to forgive.
Sometimes we may not understand the "why" of things we feel we should do until later, but if we have faith in Jesus Christ and follow His promptings, we will always be blessed!

I was out of work for almost a year. We were praying and searching the internet for me a job. One day I was feeling really down and I went down on my knees to pray to Heavenly Father. I said" Heavely Father you know what jobs are out there in the world that I would be able to do, I am putting my trust in You to find me the right job and I am not going to worry about it anymore. It was not even 2 weeks went by that my husband was looking on the internet for jobs and He told me about the job at John Deere. When he told me about it, I said "That is the job I am going to get." Not even a week went by they called me in for testing and interview. To make a long story short, I got the job. I thank Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ everyday for my very great fortune.

One of the biggest blessings I have received through my faith is my family. As I have worked to fulfill my church callings and pray regularly I have noticed my family has began to come unto God. Eight years ago my husband, parents and a few Aunts and Uncles were non-members. As I continued to do the best I could do, family members started asking questions and things began to change. My husband was babtised. A year later three grandchindren were babtised, then my parents an Aunt and Uncle, and a daughter-in-law with her sister and her sisters children. Several family members became reactivated and one has gone on a mission. I can see the gospel at work all around me. What joy I have. I have truely seen many blessings and know there will be more.

When I first got out of high school, I had little to no idea what I was going to do with my life. My mom really wanted me to go to a church college, but I was convinced that attending BYU was the absolute last thing I wanted to do, for various reasons. My senior year, I'd taken a Robotics class, and I thought I might like that, but wasn't sure. Then I visited my friend at BUY-Idaho.
During my short time there, I realized I liked the campus, but it didn't have a robotics program, so I wasn't going. Or, so I thought. As we wandered through the science and technology building, we nearly ran into a man coming down the stairs. He stopped and asked if he could help us find anything. I told him that I wanted to know if there was a program similar to robotics here. He just smiled, pulled out his keys, and led us back up the stairs. "Let me show you Robotics," he told me. Turns out, we just happened to have bumped into none other than the head of the Computer Science department, the culminating senior project of which was the making of robots. It was exactly what I was looking for.
About a year later, after taking several programming and other computer classes, I decided that Computer Science really wasn't what I wanted. By then, I'd started a job at the math tutoring lab, giving one-on-one and group tutoring sessions for other students, and I'd grown to really love teaching. So eventually, that became my major. Math Education, with an English Ed minor since I love writing and grammar so much as well.
Now, training to be a teacher is something that I could technically have done at, say, community college back home. But I know that the Lord wanted me at BYU-I, and I have seen many blessings come as a result of that choice. I have made lifelong friends, I have matured more than I ever thought possible, and I have stayed close to the gospel. I am grateful for the prayers that I know my mother must have been praying for me at that time.

My faith in Jesus Christ has given me the strength to hang on. Life got very frightening during a temporary separation from my child and I at some point of the ordeal realized I had not asked for help from my Savior. I finally prayed and gave my fear and problems to him 100 and I was at peace and was able to stay healthy, wise and strong. I learned that unless I really believe that Jesus can save me he is unable to help me. I have to ask him. I love my Savior and I have felt his perfect love. I wish everyone to feel it and to know him the same way.

So many blessings are available to all of God's children. He wants to bless us and help us as much as we want to bless and help our dearest loved ones. A blessing that has come to me through having faith in Jesus Christ is to know that I am never alone. He is always near and willing to listen to my heartaches, my needs, my concerns, my worries, my insecurities and somehow after I express my inner feelings through prayer to Him, I am able to feel His love and care for me. He sends help to me in many ways. Through prompting others to help me or encourage me. He loves me and He loves us all! This is the greatest blessing I have felt from having faith in Jesus Christ.

Fifth, my faith in Christ has blessed me with a testimony that I can do all things through Him.

When I was 10 months old, our family, my Mom and Dad and 7 children went on vacation to Disneyland. Traveling home we had a very tragic car accident that changed all of our lives dramatically. My mom was killed instantly, along with my brother James 3 yrs old and and my sister Jan 2 yrs old. My Dad was in ICU, and was not even able to attend the funeral, or even aware that my mom and his two children had passed away until 4 months later due to his critical condition. Though I never knew my mom, and two siblings, being raised in the gospel by a loving devoted Father, who taught me through example about faith and gratitude in our Heavenly Fathers plan for us, helped me immensely. I have always felt from a very early age, that I had a Heavenly Father that loves me and that I can pray to for guidance. I remember having a pounding in my heart practically every month in our testimony meetings at church to get up and share my simple testimony. My Dad would kneel down beside me at my bedside nightly, and to teach me how to pray until I was old enough to pray on my own. I'm so grateful to my Dad for his example of Faith, despite the almost seemingly unbearable trials he faced in his life. Through my faith, I know that I will see my Mom and brothers and sisters again. It brings me so much comfort to know that I can be with my husband, who is my best friend, and children for Eternity. Through my faith, I have come to understand my Saviors love for me personally, as well as for each one of us. I know that God answers my prayers. I know that my faith will continue to grow stronger as I continue to spiritually nourish it by studying the scriptures, praying daily, serving and being patient and trusting in the Lord in my challenges and adversities. I am so grateful that my faith in my Savior will sustain me to be able to do and overcome anything with his help. I am so grateful for the many choice blessings I have received through having faith in my Savior,

when gilbert and i got married last august2007 we were expecting that we will immediately be granted a baby just like the newly wed couple we known. but we will not be granted a child immediately.it requires us to have more patient in waiting for that little angel. but at last for almost 3 years of marriage the gift that were asking for was granted. i conceived a baby last march2010,we were so exited and thankful..but that excitement and joy we felt turns to pain and grief, because i was miscarriage this april 20,2010.the gift that we know He bestow unto us was also taken from us. i really feel bad.and it was really really really painful, that i thought this is the most painful experience i've ever encountered in my life.i cried so hard and i can't help it.i asked for a priesthood blessings to help me to accept the situation.i even plead to my husband to help me though i know he also needs a comfort.i dont want to blame anyone neither to question why?.but after all i was still blessed that i still have my husband and we still have each other.from this trials i know and prove how much gilbert loves and cares for me.for almost one month of bed rest he is the one nursing me though i know there were events and oppurtunities he needs to grab but instead he chose to stay beside me.I know Heavenly Father entrusted us this trials because He knows we can overcome it.I talked to my husband that we need to prove ourselves to our Heavenly Father that we are worthy and good enough to become parents.we need to be more obedient, submissive, patient, charitable, and other righteous deeds,we need to double or to triple our effort in obeying and serving Him,so that He will be merciful unto us and grant the most inner desire of our hearts.i know like pres joseph whirtlin said about the law of compensation, that the Lord compensates the faithful for every loss. That which is taken away from those who love the Lord will be added unto them in His own way. While IT MAY NOT COME AT THE TIME WE DESIRE the faithful will know that every tear today will eventually be returned a hundred fold with tears of rejoicing and gratitude.

There are so many blessings that have come to me through my faith in Jesus Christ. The most important blessing I think I have received is the knowledge that has come to me through faith. The knowledge of eternal families, and the knowledge that I am never alone; that Jesus Christ died for me and redeemed me of all my sins. This knowledge is the greatest blessing I could ever be given.

Sky answered…
Where do I begin…? I have an undeniable testimony that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God. I know that through His infinite Atonement we can be healed. I was raised LDS as a Latter-Day-Saint / Mormon born to awesome parents. However life in the gospel became difficult for one of my parents. It was a devastating effect on the family. The y got back together, but the chains of adultery had not fully broken, so in 2006 my family was again apart. It wasn’t until then, soon after I turned 18 that the effects of the previous divorce, and all the events that led up to it became apparent to me.
I had to watch my younger brothers waver because you were supposed to be blessed if you are doing the right thing right? My father was in the Bishopric, and held other callings in the church, and has always remained a worthy member. What did he do to ever deserve what he received? What did me and my brothers ever do to have our family torn apart, and watch my father fall into pieces because of the effects of infidelity? I held a grudge for the longest time, deep inside that only my family really knew I had. I felt like Nephi, “O wretched man that I am! Yea, my heart sorroweth because of my flesh my soul grieveth because of mine iniquities.” I hadn’t done anything immediately wrong, but I did hold on to anger, depression of the soul, and mistrust. I had so much hurt I had no room for my savior. So like Nephi, I went to God. I knew I had to get past this.
It wasn’t easy, and it never is. I had to realize that everyone has their ability to choose and act for themselves. God, no matter how much He loves us can’t come down and interfere.
“For it must needs be, that there is an opposition in all things. If not so… righteousness could not be brought to pass, neither wickedness, neither holiness nor misery, neither good nor bad…. Wherefore, men are free according to the flesh and all things are given them which are expedient unto man. And they are free to choose liberty and eternal life…or to choose captivity and death…”
I found that my family did everything we could, not perfectly, but we tried. Still the she made a choice. No matter what, she is and will always be my mother. I found through the Atonement I could forgive her. I did, and I love her dearly. She is a child of God too.
I am grateful for the trials in my life because they tested me, and the results of those choices have made me into who I am today. I love my family, I love my mom, and nothing can or will ever change that. She had a much harder life than I before with her mother. Dose that fully justify her… not in the least, but I have no real place or reason to hold on to disdain. I deserve happiness, God wants us all to be happy and have joy! Besides, if we are here to strive to become like our Savior, how are we ever going to learn without practice!?
Having Faith in Jesus Christ has led me through a world of hurt into an expanse of joy and infinite possibilities. I know my Savior Lives, He is my King. I love Him, and am grateful for Him, and His loving kindness. The church is true!
In the Name of Jesus Christ Amen.

Hannah answered…
Because of my faith in Jesus Christ, I am able to approach each day with the knowledge that I can. I know that anything that is thrown my way is for my good and is doable. The Lord would never ask me to do something of which I was not capable, and I know that my challenges do not have to be suffered through alone. Any challenge that I can have, I don't have to feel that no one understands what I'm going through, because Christ has suffered the pains and ills of all. He has felt every emotion, every challenge and every difficulty. That's what the atonement was! There is not any feeling you can feel that Christ has not already felt. He is the ultimate confidante because of that, and through the Comforter, the Holy Ghost, he can help you through anything.

Randi answered…
The best blessing that has come as a result of my faith in Jesus Christ is the peace and joy I feel in my life. It took time to build up enough faith to truly trust in Christ, and it took even longer for my mind to know what my heart and spirit have known all along, but having finally reached that point has brought me more happiness and peace in my life then I could have ever imagined. Although I still face times of immense stress and sometimes pain, I am able to face each day knowing that I will eventually be who I want to be, and I will eventually be blessed with all of those things which the Lord has promised me. Life is hard sometimes, but it can be great regardless. Life is a blessing and having true faith in Christ helps me to realize that and to feel the joy of living on a daily basis.

I am a better person. Faith in Christ is to have faith that he can help us, not only forgiving us our sins and removing that feeling of guilt but also helps us on being a better person. I have changed so much from the time I really focused on getting to know the Lord when I was in High School. Then I thought alot more about me and my problems. But after time and some serious prayer and alot of guidance from the Holy Ghost helping others is a desire of mine, I love to give service in those random moments of the day when it is needed. And that is when I am most happy. I know that desire didn't come from anything I did, but the Lord changing my Heart and he has done it and is continually doing so in many aspects of my Life.

I think my answer to the question what blessings have come to you because of your faith in Jesus Christ may be a bit of a different that some. I tend to be a person who wants a plan. I had my life all planned out in my teenage years go to college, get married, become a teacher, have children, and on and on it went. Yet I soon learned, as life teaches many, that there may be an alternative plan that the Lord has for me. Most of my teenage list did in fact come true, but it didn't happen according to my original timeline. For example, I married six years later than most of my friends did. I had several years gap between my children because of unexplained infertility. I attended graduate school before getting married only to find a spiritual push to return to finish after years of being away. My faith in Jesus Christ has taught me that in order to fulfill my plan I needed to turn my plan over to Him. His plan is best for me and even if I can’t always “see” what is around the next bend. My blessings come from letting Him guide me and having faith that what He sees is best for me.

It has given me hope, when I didn't think there was any. My greatest blessing is having the gospel in my life. It draws me closer to my Saviour and my Heavenly Father.

I once read a story about the prophet Moses - you know, the one that parted the Red Sea and all that - and the people of Israel that Moses was leading out of Egypt. The people were getting sick from some venomous serpents that had bitten them. Moses held up a symbol for the people to look at. Those who looked at the symbol were healed. Those who didn't believe it would heal them didn't look and just got sicker and died. That story has inspired me to look to Jesus Christ when I am in need of help. It has been particularly helpful when I am having a hard time fighting some old urge or other to do something that I know is not right. I just stop for a minute and visualize Jesus Christ standing there with his arms out to help me. It has helped me overcome so many bad habits by just believing in Jesus Christ and looking to Him like some of the people of Israel looked at the symbol Moses held up. I know that Jesus Christ has power to heal us, because I have experienced that power many times for myself.

When I was seventeen, I started my senior year of high school running varsity cross country. One clear Saturday morning, we went to a meet a couple cities away. I didn't feel poorly before the race began, and I ran my best ever for a while. Then I began to feel like I was going to faint. I pushed that feeling aside with all my might, while praying that if I had to go down that I would not faint somewhere I might be seriously hurt. As I reached my coaches part way through the course, I collapsed on the black top.
This was my first faint, and the first indication that I had a chronic, incurable disorder called neurocardiogenic syncope, a part of dysautonomia. It changed my life dramatically, forcing me to finish high school from home and delay college. I lost my identity, my independence, and my friends. But I did not lose my faith in Christ.
My greatest comfort during that time was reading and talking of Christ. I particularly loved the stories of the New Testament where he healed the lame, the blind, the woman with the issue of blood. I remember praying earnestly that I too had sufficient faith to be healed. I pleaded for my life back. I desired to be taken up in His arms and made whole.
As much time passed, I realized that He had healed me, not cured me. I accepted that though He had the power to cure me, He had chosen not to at this time. As my mother taught when she cried with me at my bedside, Christ is the only one who understands what I go through. If He knows that I need this ever present governor to develop me into who He needs me to be, then I accept. And that has made all the difference.

Robert Bruce answered…
I have an assurance or feeling in my heart and mind that Jesus Christ lives and that He actually went through the experience in Gethsemane and on the cross at Golgotha. I call that having Faith in Jesus Christ. That experience which Jesus Christ went through is called the atonement and was consummated with His resurrection.
I exercise or use my faith in Jesus Christ by applying the atonement to my personal life. Not only have I applied the atonement to be cleansed/purified from the effects of wrong doings, but also using the atonement in what I call being healed from past hurt that I have experienced. I believe that carrying the burdens of sin and/or being hurt or humiliated by others tends or discouragement saps my energy and ability to help others out. I also have found that we can receive divine help in our weaknesses after we have done all that is within our power to do. This is call grace. All of this is exercising faith in Jesus Christ.
It is through daily prayer and evaluating the day's experiences, that I ask in humility that the atonement is applied to that whatever happened. At times I have to go resolve with another person a problem that occurred. Then I can come back and ask again that the atonement be applied. Then comes the ensuing peace and love of my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.
In areas of my life that I am inadequate, I do everything that is within my power and capabilities of doing, then I ask my Heavenly Father in prayer for help. That help as I have mentioned is called grace. Most of the time I feel the influence of the Holy Ghost come over me, and I am able to do that task or accomplish that responsibility that I am not to good at.
I must acknowledge Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ's love, goodness, and help to me. I have gained a love for Them as I have gone through each day of my life. I have come to a realization that I need the atonement every minute of my waking and sleeping hours. By so doing I have a peace and consolation that I can be a force of good in helping others out.

I am so thankful to have a 14 year old son who knows and loves Our Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus Christ. He is a young man raised with Christian values who is looking forward to college, serving a mission and his community and finding a good wife so that he can be good husband. He will not only be a husband but a father and a priesthood holder .
Based on my Savior I am not afraid to try new ideas even if it may not be the popular choice. I believe that all things are possible through Him. There are so many blessings of protection that come from having a guideline for living.
It has been only because of Him that I have accomplished what I have .

When i found out the church was true every thing in my life fell into place. For example, the job i had during the summer went out of business. I needed a job right away so i could earn money to go on my mission. In a few weeks i found a job that payed better and let me leave on my mission for 2 years then would hire me back. Then i met the most amazing girl at volleyball, and she helped me prepare for my misson. She teaches me so many things and how i can be a better person. One of my friends always said "happy wife, happy life" though she is not my wife yet, she still pushes me to do good. so as my mission date drew closer i had to buy clothes for it like suits, slacks and a big coat. All those things are pretty expencive but the lord always gives blessings to those who obay his commandments and i was doing the best i could. i was able to get most of my suits and stuff for cheap on black friday. i know that all that was from heavenly father cause my life has never been that good EVER. I love him so much and i love my family so much and i love my girlfriend so much. thank you heavely father.

The greatest blessing of knowing Jesus is my Savior is that I won't ever need to feel that I don't measure up. Jesus lived and died for me. He knows my heart. He lived a perfect life so that He could be the perfect sacrifice for my sins. I can live my life to the best of my ability and know that, however I fall short, He'll make up the difference. I am comforted by the knowledge that he loves me and wants what's best for me. Whatever happens in my life, He will see that it works for my eternal good.

My family is truly the greatest blessing in my life. Through his Spirit, Christ had directed me in my career path and any other good decisions that I have made. I also know that by that same spirit, has protected me as I have give about the duties of my job. I know that the Savior is mindful of me..... of us all no matter how many mistakes we have made or where we are in life. He loves us and wants us all to return to him. He only requires that we reach to him and take his outstretched hands.

Because of my faith in Jesus Christ, I have come to realize my worth as a daughter of God. My life has a purpose and I have great potential. As I have tried to harmonize my life with the teachings of Jesus Christ, my personal relationships have been richer. I have found strength beyond my own to overcome personal weaknesses and to move ever closer to being like my Savior. When things are not going well, I know that I have a loving Father in Heaven who listens to my prayers and helps me with my struggles. And I know that Jesus Christ suffered for my sins and knows how to help me with anything I take to him in sincere prayer.

Through the restored gospel, we understand how faith is not only what you believe, but also what you do because of that belief. I see my actions being determined by where I stand spiritually, so the stronger my belief is in the Savior and His Atonement, the better my choices are because of that. The prophets in the scriptures counsel us to keep the commandments because it is the true way to be happy, and so when I gain greater trust in God and His chosen servants, I am more willing and able to follow their teachings. And then I've personally seen their words be verified as I have done so myself!
The closer I come to Jesus Christ, the more I'm content and happy, simple as that. My faith grows little by little in a very real sense as I continue to experience the difference that faith brings to my life. I can't share any miraculous experiences, but I know for sure that I'm living a better life than the foolishness and temporary pleasure that the world offers.

In my teenage years, every week at church I would recite the Young Women's Organization's theme. "We are daughters of our Heavenly Father who loves us and we love Him. We will stand as witnesses of God at all times, in all things, and in all places as we strive to live the Young Women values, which are faith, divine nature, individual worth, knowledge, choice and accountability, good works, integrity, and virtue..." I never thought much of it then. Although, three years later this theme changed my life. I was living in Brazil with my husband for the summer while he completed his internship for college. While living there, I was surrounded by beautiful, thin, and intelligent women. I was comparing myself to them which brought me incredible despair day after day. Finally one morning, as I was sobbing out of self-pity, the words came to me, "I am a daughter of God and HE LOVES ME." Over and over these words came and at first I didn't know where I had learned them. Then it dawned on me. This was the Young Women Theme I had learned in my youth. I then continued to recite the theme and again, the spirit whispered again to my soul, "Never does it say that you have to be beautiful and skinny. You are a daughter of God who LOVES YOU!" Wow, what comfort was I brought! From that point on, my focus had changed. I remembered that I am a daughter of God and that no matter how I look, He will always love me.

Hope. Hope has been one of the greatest blessings as I have exercised faith in our Savior, Jesus Christ. There was a time in my life when I experienced such loneliness and despair that I was sure my heart was literally breaking inside. I remember clenching my chest in an effort to subside the pain in between sobs. I had a choice to make. I could believe that I was doomed to a life of misery and despair with no hope of relief, or I could believe that there was a Savior, who was aware of my pains and was willing to help me through it until it became a building block contributing to my progression. I decided the latter. I decided to believe. I decided to have faith in Jesus Christ and in all of the promises I was taught He made. Soon after, I felt hope. I felt hope that I would make it through. I felt hope that things would get better. I felt hope that one day, I would look back on the experience and realize it made me a better person. And now I can say, it has.

My faith in Christ has brought me Every good thing in this life, all the great blessings that attend doing what is asks are absolutely unmeasurable because they are so great. I know the people whom i love have only been brought into my life because I have been working hard to do my best to keep His Commandments. In too many aspects of my life has it affected me. The most important truth about Jesus Christ and his power is in his atoning sacrifice, it has real power to change us and give us the greatest peace. It removes the Darkening feeling of Sin and Guilt and it brights us into the great Light that is Christ. I know he lives i know he died and was raised on the Third day, not some fantasy is this, But a real and amazing truth that has released me of the burden of Guilt and the horrible fear that Sin brings. I Love my Savior with all of my heart because i know him and i love him. I will continue throughout my life to come closer and learn of him. I know the blessings come because of the restored Gospel of him of who i testify, even in the name of Jesus Christ.

My faith in Jesus Christ has helped to turn my life around. I have overcome severe depression, social anxiety disorder and many dysfunctional situations. It is only through faith in Christ that I have been able to make the changes I've made in my life. He is my strength, my power and my hope.

God has always taken care of me. I don't really know how He does it, or why He's done it to me, but I reach a point when I can go no further and He somehow gets me through. Sometimes I'm depressed or tired, sometimes I'm just not smart enough or not outgoing enough. The things I can't do on my own somehow get done, through nothing I do but because of what He's done for me. As we have faith in Jesus Christ, He helps us in every aspect of our lives.

"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." Hebrews Chapter 11 Verse 1. We may not see Jesus Christ, but we know he existed here on Earth. He was here as a Prophet and died for our sins. Having faith in our Lord can create a happiness inside of us that is better than anything else in this world. If we exert our faith, we can be assured that we will be blessed because of our drive to live the gospel. I have been blessed with a wonderful life that could not be complete without His love and grace. I have been blessed with a happy heart that could not have come from anywhere but Him. If it wasn't for faith, I would not have met the love of my life. If we put our entire faith in Him, we can be assured that He will take care of us and lead us to where He wants us to go.

The greatest blessing to me of faith in Jesus Christ is the peace it brings to my life. This is especially true about the passing away of loved ones. Several close family members have passed away in the past few years and because I believe in Jesus Christ, I know that I will see my loved ones again. Although it is still painful when someone that I love dies, and I still miss them, there is assurance and calmness knowing that the separation is temporary. Only Jesus Christ can save us from sin and death and he reaches out with open arms to welcome us. My faith in Jesus Christ helps me get through the rough times of life and gives me hope for the future.

There is a darkness that you don't realize was there when you lack a faith in anything. Going day to day to find the reason we're here, our purpose, and our meaning can be debilitating and depressing. I've done that. I've been there.
But I found the light in Christ. He is there for me. Before when I had a stressful time or something which caused anxiety, I would grit my teeth and lunge for it or away from it. I'd run, afraid of what might happen. Now, if there is anything stressful or less uplifting, I pray. I pray. And I pray. I pray when there are good things, bad things, mediocre things. I pray in gratitude, in plea, and in desire.
I pray in thanks when I get a green light.
The blessings are too many to number that have come to me through my faith in Jesus Christ. Too many. But my biggest blessing, the most quantifiable one, is the knowledge that I AM NOT ALONE. He never leaves me. And He Loves me. Me. And you. He loves us. Unconditionally.
There's nothing else but happiness to feel after you realize the truth and validity of that.

In some of these situations, the only thing that held me back was my faith in Jesus Christ and my desire to pay him back in some small way for all that he has done for me. Because of my faith in Jesus Christ, I know that I can be completely forgiven, find real peace, and find strength beyond my own. Here are the lyrics to a song I wrote that express the blessings in my life because of my faith in Jesus Christ.
"Why I Believe"
Thirty-three years was all He needed
To live on this earth
To change our lives forever
To show us our greater worth
And though He was hated by those who saw His hands heal
I know His perfect love reaches out still
He is why I believe
He is why I'm free
He is the one who can strengthen me when I am weak
And He is why I have hope
He's everything good I know
He's why my sins can be as white as the snow
He is why
Three days was all He needed
And He rose from the dead
Our Savior who was mocked and spit upon
Took up His own bed
And He lives
Just as sure as you and I breathe
And he's suffered for each one of us individually
He is why I believe
He is why I sing
He is the sun at noonday that gives light to everything
And He is why I have hope
He's everything good I know
He's why my sins can be as white as the snow
He is why
I used to be so much different
My heart's not always right where it should be
But I've felt the Savior's power to change my soul inside
And I know there's a way back because He died
He is why I believe
He is why I sing
He is the sun at noonday that gives light to everything
And He is why I have hope
He's everything good I know
He's why my sins can be as white as the snow
He is why

At age 5, I accompanied my family and other Americans stationed in the city of Asmara, Ethiopia, Africa on a caravan ride across Northern Ethiopia. I will never forget sitting between my father and mother in the front seat of our Chevrolet Biscayne. As we came over the horizon, my father instructed all of us to get on the floor. There, twenty-five yards ahead of us, lay a rock wall across the road.
Next, my father grabbed a loaded US Army issue pistol in his right hand from the dashboard and motioned for mother to open the glove box, which exposed a second loaded pistol. Instantly, we thought of the loaded US Army rifles in the trunk and of the men in the other five vehicles with similar loaded weapons. We were in Ethiopia just after their civil war with Eritrea that brought Haile Selassie once again to power; we were ready to fall among thieves.
From this experience I have grown to love the parable of the Good Samaritan because it reminds me of the Good Shepherd to whom I look for healing from all my earthly wounds.

Faith is an active word. Actions motivated by beliefs constitute faith. I have found that by actively trying to follow the teachings of Christ in my life, and teaching my children to do likewise our family has been able to avoid many of the pitfalls of modern society.
My commitment to my wife is strengthened by our mutual faith in Christ. By following the counsel of God through his prophets, we have been able to teach our children to recognize and avoid the evils present in society that can destroy them. The greatest compliment I can get and it has only happened a couple of times in my life is after knowing someone a short time they ask "Where do you go to church?" When I tell them I'm LDS they respond "I knew it!" Those few times are dear to me. It means that I was living in such a way, that is characteristic of a "Mormon", and they knew it right away before asking me. Unfortunately there are a few more "really, you're Mormon?" responses. Those hurt. Though I'm never embarrassed to say I'm Mormon, I hope the church is never embarrassed about me. I hope to live my life in such a way, that those I meet quickly realize there is something about me that indicates my membership in the church.

Mark answered…
Frequently in our prayers, my wife and I have prayed to know what more we can do to serve the Kingdom of God. In 2007 we were struggling financially. We worked hard to make a budget that wouldn't increase our debt, and prayed about it. We knew that as long as we didn't start having kids, we could continue to scrape by until we could bring in more money. A few days later, after prayer, my wife asked me to pray about whether it was time to start having children. She had already received revelation on the matter, but wanted me to find out for myself. Within a few days of pondering and praying, I knew that God wanted us to start a family, and it was my duty to obey.
This was difficult for me to accept because I know that the Lord commands us to have children, but He also warns us to avoid debt. My wife and I knelt together and prayed about it. We acknowledged that we were being asked to try to conceive, but we told God that we knew what our budget was, and that if my wife got pregnant, only a miracle could keep us from financial ruin.
My wife did get pregnant a couple of months later and we returned to our Father in Heaven in prayer, asking for that miracle. I didn't know immediately how He intended to answer that prayer, so although I was very happy with my job, I started looking for higher pay elsewhere. I soon received an offer that would pay just a little more than enough to meet our needs. We were very relieved, and I gave 2 weeks notice at my current job. They countered, offering what amounted to a raise of almost 50%. This was more than enough to make ends meet, and to start paying down our mortgage faster. I accepted.
If you ignore the reason that I started looking for another job, this story may not sound like any huge miracle. But the reason is everything! I love my son so much, and I am so deeply grateful that he was sent to me. I cherish every day that I have with him and thank God for it. Left to my own power alone, I would still be waiting to meet him.

My faith in Jesus Christ has made me stronger beyond anything I could ever become on my own. Because I know that his atoning sacrifice is so all-encompassing that nothing I face in this life will be beyond his healing, I can live my life without fear. I can live without fear because I know He will never give me a trial without a way to overcome it and come out the other side of it a better person. I know the Atonement works because I have seen it in action in my own life. Jesus Christ has made certain weaknesses of mine become strengths. Of course, this process requires effort on my part as well in order for it to work, just as any friendship requires effort on both sides. By pouring out my heart in prayer, doing my best to live Christ's example, and believing that he would heal me, I have been made stronger than I ever hoped for.

Ashlin answered…
I have had MANY blessings come through my faith in Jesus Christ. It's tough to find a place to start. As a teen I struggled with the doctrine and after reading the Book of Mormon and receiving confirmation that it was true, I started to turn my life around. I got rid of the friends who were bad influences, stayed away from the party scenes and focused on what mattered. That was probably my biggest blessing. If I hadn't been able to start there, I never would have been prepared when I met my husband.
When I met my husband, he was not Mormon. He had several experiences with the church and knew what we were all about. What he didn't know was what we believed. Being a Catholic, it was very hard for him to let go of some of his beliefs, but with a lot of prayer (on my part as well), he was able to see that the Mormon church was complete and answered questions he had for such a long time. He was baptized and not longer after that we were married. We weren't married in the temple because we both were not ready spiritually and mentally. His conversion was another blessing.
Shortly after we were married, my husband fell away from the church for a while. Although I tried as hard as I could to continue going to church, I soon followed. It was a tough two years of not going to church and not living our lives like we should. I prayed and I prayed that my husband would have the desire to go back to church with me. Finally one day, we decided together that we would go. We met with our bishop and he told us that if would start coming to church, our lives would improve. So we started there. We took baby steps and along the way we were blessed. We both found great jobs and were able to buy a house. Our marriage improved, we became closer to eachother and leaned on eachother in times of need. We both received callings in the church, we paid our tithing, we were getting spiritually and mentally ready a temple marriage. All while this was going on, we were trying for a baby and it just wasn't happening. It didn't take us years to have children, but things kept coming up and the decision was made to hold off on kids.
In February of 2008, we sealed in the temple. It was amazing and I realized how great God's plan is for us. The temple was beautiful. It's such a peaceful place and one that I long to be often. It was a great day and one that I will never forget. Six months later, we were pregnant with twins! Another incredible blessing.
When I think about how blessed we are, I am overwhelmed. I'm so grateful to our Heavenly Father for his plan of happiness and helping us along the way. If we hadn't held onto our faith during this process there is no way that we would be where we are at today.

The biggest blessing has been my family. I am a step mother to 3 kids, all of whom are grown and on their own. I am also a mother of 3 girls, who still live at home. "Faith is not so much something we believe; faith is something we live." -Joseph B. Wirthlin-
One of the greatest teachings of Christ, I feel, is the act of charity and service to others. In a way, setting aside my selfishness and putting others ahead of myself, is helping me realize how blessed I am for what I have. As well, having my faith in Christ is followed by a strong desire to become more like Him. In that desire, I can feel that I am becoming a better person each day that I live by Him.

I don't know what I'd do without my faith in Jesus Christ. I'm always saying that life is one big roller coaster--there are ups and downs, but in the end, it's a great ride. My faith in Christ is what has helped pull me up from the hard, down times in my life, and lifted me up to the highest, happiest times.
Things have happened in my life where I was left asking, "Why did this happen to me?" "Why does this have to hurt so much?" "Will the heartache ever go away?" "Why is life full of so many disappointments and trials?" My heart has ached and I have wanted to just curl up in a ball and cry. But Christ is my Savior in more ways than one. Not only did he save my soul through His death, but he has rescued me from the hard times and has pulled me up and out of the sorrow. He is the one that made things all better. My circumstances weren't really changed, but he helped me handle the circumstances and keep on living happily. He picked me up and put me back on my feet again. My trust in him changed my attitude. Instead of a pity party, I was celebrating that there is still hope and a bright future ahead. My faith in Him helps me remember that He has a certain plan for me that will lead me to the greatest happiness. I know that because I'm striving to follow Him, he will be there with me every step of the way. I can't think of a better person to have at your side than our Savior Jesus Christ. I know He lives and walks with us. He loves and knows us no matter how insignificant we may think we are. NOTHING separates us from His love.
With His love and our faith in Him, life really is a great ride!

When I was in high school, I rode the bus every day to another town to attend school. Every day we would drive past the temple.
One day, I saw a couple laughing together, skipping down the hill to the temple. I thought, " that is the kind of marriage I want. I want to be happy with my husband and enjoy our association and have fun together."
So when I chose my husband, he fit exactly what I was looking for. The Lord is a pardner in our marriage with us. We live our lives around his commandments and teachings. We would not change that. It brings great blessings to us each day. We are truly happy. We enjoy each other, our children and our grandchildren. And the dog!

I try to do what is right. I try to live the way I know I should. I strive to follow the standards of the church. Sometimes it's hard to live as good as I know I should. I feel that I am blessed beyond measure as I strive to live the right way. I enjoy good health and strength, as do my husband and children. I feel that the harder I try to do right, the more Jesus Christ is there for me. It's such a comfort to know that even when things go dreadfully wrong - because sometimes they do - that Jesus Christ is always there for me. Through the struggles I have had in my life, I have always felt Jesus Christ at my side. I know he walks with me. The common poem of "Footprints" is the story of my life. I feel He has carried me countless times throughout my life. I have the support of great family, friends, and my church family (the congregation I attend church with). There are struggles I've had that I don't feel I could have made it through without my Savior. He has constantly been there to bring me peace and to fill my soul with love and comfort. He buoys me up every day. I feel His presence constantly.

The greatest blessing that has come into my life because of my faith in Jesus Christ is to be at peace and have joy. It is easy in our day to be pessimistic and sorrowful, but with a faith in Jesus Christ we come to know that God does have a plan and that we can have eternal joy. What a beautiful understanding that is! With that understanding do we still have hard times and sorrow? Absolutely, but can we also have peace and happiness? Absolutely, and that is why I am so grateful for my faith in Jesus Christ.

Through my faith in Jesus Christ my blessings are countless. When I look back and reflect on my life it is hard to describe how far the Lord brought me. I have a strong Testimony in the atonement and restoration of the Gospel. I recently had an opportunity to go to the temple and everytime I reflect of that moment I thank God for the promise He has planned for us. I want to be an example to my family and friends through the daily blessings the Lord showers upon my life.

Every single blessing that I have received is because of my faith in Jesus Christ. There are many people who have good things in this life that come without faith in Christ, but I consider blessings to be more than just the "good things in life". I think blessings are those that help us grow in our faith and grow closer to Our Savior. This can be from the good things in life from our families, our homes, the food that we eat, our good friends and our jobs, but many blessings come in disguise as trials, much like a hard and muddy clam contains a "pearl of great price", and when we show our faith in Jesus Christ as we deal with those trials, he opens up that muddy clam to show us the blessing that was their all along.

I've been blessed in so many ways because of Jesus Christ and the teachings of the gospel. I've been blessed because I've been sealed to my family for time and all eternity, which is also amazing. And I've been blessed with happiness because my lifestyle is healthy spiritually, physically, and emotionally.
Most of all I've been blessed with the peace that comes after repentance. Through Christ's atonement, I have been blessed to be able to repent and to have my sins washed away. That is the ultimate blessing for me.

I was on oxygen 24 hours a day. Two priesthood holders came and gave me a blessing. It was like 100 pounds lifted off of me right then. A short time later I was completely off of oxygen as I am today.

Over the past four years our family has experienced three grandchildren become sick with different, yet very frightening maladies. The recovery of each of these have been complete after sincere and earnst prayers of family members and friends. I know each child's recovery was the blessing of a miracle coming from our prayers and faith in Jesus Christ.

Deborah, Army wife, mom of two answered…
When I became inactive in the Church I began to make wrong choices. I started to smoke, drink, did a few drugs and was having pre-marital sex. When I was 19, I got pregnant. I learned quickly that the guy I was dating wasn't taking the situation seriously, he refused to marry me and I ended the relationship. I didn't hear from him for almost the rest of my pregnancy.
After much thought and prayer, I decided to ask my Bishop for advice and help, he of course suggested adoption, which isn't what I wanted at the time. I wanted to keep my baby and I was dead set on the idea. I started the repentance process, I wanted to change.
When I was about 5 months pregnant, with the help of much thought, prayer, the Holy Ghost and LDS Family Services counseling, I was able to make the decision to place my baby for adoption. I wanted my daughter to be able to have all of the blessings of a mom and a dad and to be able to be sealed to them for Eternity. If I were to keep her, this wouldn't have been possible.
My adoption wasn't an easy, it was contested. 3 weeks before my daughter was born, my ex-boyfriend came back and stopped the adoption. He insisted on trying to have me single parent, only for selfish reasons. Long story short, she was 3 months old when I placed her. I went through much trial and hardship.
Oftentimes, I would think about Jesus' atonement and sacrifice as I held her in my arms, thinking about how hard it could be to continue on. He helped to comfort me and He gave me the strength to pull through.
It's been 9 years since her birth, she's beautiful and so happy! Her parents love her to pieces and have raised her so well. I am happy, I have two wonderful boys, a husband who is an awesome dad and an Eternal marriage.
Without Jesus Christ and his Atonement, I wouldn't have been able to repent for my sins, I wouldn't have been able to make the decision to place my baby for adoption and I wouldn't have been able to have gone through what I did.

I have had many blessings come from having faith in Christ but something I've recognized a lot in my life is the blessing of an eternal prospective. I think that without having faith in Christ the many challenges that have come my way would make me miserable but instead have given me even greater prospective on this life. My family has benefited greatly because we choose to have faith in Christ. We kneel in prayer together as a family and because of that we are blessed with love and harmony in our home. We have faith in Christ and His perfect ability to help us through hard times. My parents lost their 7th child a few years ago and I saw the devastation on my mothers face and the sadness in my fathers eyes but because of their undying faith in Christ they are happy. They know that through Him we can all see her again and knowing that is a beautiful blessing in itself. I believe the many blessings that I recieve are only offered to me when I strive to live a Christ like life. Satan is real and will do everything he can to doubt my faith in Christ but he only has the power over me that I give him. Blessings come from having faith in Christ and I'm forever grateful for that.

Faith taught me that if I do things the Lord's way, it's always better. I have to trust Him enough to be obedient to what He's asked me to do...and then I can be confident knowing that He will always keep His promise to bless my life for the better...in any aspect.

Since I was a little girl, I have never doubted how much Christ loves me. I was not raised Mormon, but I was still blessed to be in a Christ-centered home. Even though I did not understand Christ's sacrifice for all of humanity as a child (and still can't fully grasp it), I still knew Christ was my Savior.
And it's this faith that led me to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. The months leading up to my decision to become a Latter-Day Saint were really difficult. But I knew if I had faith in my Savior, He would show me the way. James 1:17 says "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights." When I read the Book of Mormon, I knew without a doubt that it is good. When I talked with Mormons and heard the prophet speak and attended church--the Spirit I felt there was undoubtedly good. And it testified of the Christ I had been striving my whole life to grow closer to.
So I took a leap of faith, not understanding everything, but knowing one thing: "This is good." And since making the decision to become a Latter-Day Saint, my faith in Jesus Christ has blossomed. I feel closer to my Savior and know his grace is sufficient for all my faults. That all the pain and trials we experience on earth, it's all been overcome by Christ who loves me. The lights are on, and I can't imagine living any other way.
