I'm a father of five children residing in upstate New York. I'm an attorney. I'm an avid Marvel and DC collector.

Why I am a Mormon

Once I felt that my Heavenly Father answered my prayer as to the truthfulness of this Church, I felt the need to be baptized into His church.
I have not doubted this decision since. The "Mormon" way of life which is really the Savior's prescription to be followed has brought great joy into the life of my family and myself.

Could you talk about your baptism?

Once I fasted and prayed to know if the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Mormons was God's True Church and received an affirmative response, I knew I had to be baptized. I will never forget the day I was immersed into the water with an authorized priesthood holder and came out of the water feeling cleansed of my past sins.

Why do Mormons go on missions?

To share the blessings that come from following our Savior Jesus Christ. I had the opportunity to go to Argentina to share my knowledge of the Mormon Faith. It was the best and hardest thing I have done.

How I live my faith

I'm very involved in the lives of the Youth 12-18 years of age of the Church. I have recently been given the assignment of being Bishop responsible for congregation of approximately 300 families.

Are there restrictions based on race or color concerning who can join The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and have the priesthood?

There are no restrictions based on race or color concerning who can join the Church. I'm a Latino that joined the Church in the 1980's. I have never been denied anything within the Church because of my nationality.

There is no discrimination or exclusions of race. The Lord says in the bible, "...man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the Heart." 1Sam 16:7. The Lord does not care what race or color you are. All he cares about is you. He loves you.

What do Mormons believe about Jesus Christ? Do Mormons believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God?

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Almighty, the First and the Last, Alpha and Omega, the LORD of LORDS, the Son of Man, Creator, Savior and Redeemer. Christ came down from heaven to take upon flesh and died on the cross to Atone for the sins of all mankind, He rose from the dead that all men can be resurrected to stand before Christ be judged. We believe that there is none other name under heaven given among men, but the name Jesus Christ, whereby we must be saved. We believe the Jesus Christ is the Firstborn Spirit Son of God (Col. 1:15) and that He is the Only Begotten Son of God in the flesh (John 3:16, Heb. 12:9, Rom. 8:16).
